I joined vasa last November after completing chemo and radiation. I wanted to get my strength back and feel like myself again. I signed up for a trainer and got Hondo. He was great! Not only did we speak of everything I had gone through but he always tried to adjust exercises to accommodate the pains that I was still getting. There were times that I was feeling sick and he would work with me with rescheduling or making sure not to go to hard on me. On top of just finishing treatment I still had a lot of appointments and had started working again which was an overnight shift. Hondo understood that and would give me appointments later in the morning, early afternoon or take me in on Saturdays. For some unknown reason he left and Candace was assigned to take over. Candace was such a great trainer too. She listened to me and paid attention to how I felt when doing the exercises. She was great motivating me and always asked how I was doing. I personally like this Vasa and will continue to go to it. The reason I gave Vasa 3 stars and not 5 is because when reassigning me, it should have been taken into consideration the schedule I had with the previous trainer. When someone expresses that they work till 3:30am and don’t go to sleep till 5am and usually have appointments and therapy early morning, why would you ask them if 8:30am will work. Unfortunately I was matched with a very popular and busy trainer that only had openings at 8:30am or 10am. Candace could not accommodate me on Saturdays or afternoon Fridays. I agreed to what she offered because I felt I had no other option since when I asked if she had other slots she told me she didn’t. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it to many sessions due to it being to early or me getting sick. Sometimes I couldn’t reschedule because no one can predict when they will wake up in pain or sick. I felt like my money was wasted with half of my trainings because I was never offered a time that would work with me. I feel Vasa needs to take that into consideration when reassigning because my experience would have been better and I would’ve felt like I was taken care of had i been able to actually use all my sessions instead of missing them most of the time due to being limited to only two time slots

The equipment and staff are great! Everything is available to help a person achieve his or her fitness goals at a reasonable price. I have attended many gyms in my life. VASA is by far the best.

i love VASA as a whole, their staff is always welcoming & nice & i love how big the gym is. i ended my personal training sessions with Candace after almost two years & she is the absolute best. she is so easy to talk to, her personality is great, she pushes me to keep going whenever i doubt myself & has helped me become more confident in the gym. i met her at a different gym so when she told me she was going to work at VASA i knew i couldn’t lose her as my personal trainer & i followed her there! definitely one of the best decisions i’ve ever made! ❤️💪🏼

My trainer was amazing I’d like to thank Kelsy one of the personal trainers there. I loved the fact that she had patience and pushed me to reach my fitness goals. Would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

I recently started working out with a personal trainer here, Mario, and have had a great experience so far. My biggest fear of returning to the gym was agitating old injuries with improper technique. He's put together a personalized workout plan for me then taught me how to do everything on the list to enable me to work out on my own and is helping me with my nutrition as well. If you need help meeting your goals, Mario can definitely help you!

The gym itself is actually pretty cool. The facility is huge! Every time I go there has been space to workout pretty much everywhere even though they get busy in the late afternoons/evenings. The have a lot of amenities: water massage chairs, pool, basketball court, group workout area, functional training/kettlebell area, and their Studio Red. I haven't tried one of the Studio Red classes but they look fun and intense. The only thing I don't like about this gym is the locker room. I can't speak for the women's locker room but the guy's locker room is smelly, like a mix of B.O. and cleaner and there's teen boys/young college kids that lounge around shirtless on their phones, it gives it high school vibe. Other than the locker room this gym is cool.

I love Vasa Fitness, it is a great space with amazing machines and squat/deadlift platforms. I would say the only downside to this gym is the hours. I wish it would stay open until midnight on weekdays or at least open earlier for people who work late or want to get a good morning session in before work.

Wow what a great place to workout. It’s such a wonderful environment. There are tons of machines, a great sauna, and wonderful staff. The one-on-one coaching sessions are my personal favorite. Train with Paxton ya’ll , she is the real deal. She pushes me and encourages me to be better which is what I need, and I feel so much better and a lot stronger then when I first started. It’s makes this weight loss journey 10 times better.
