Planet Fitness

Its a rather decent and clean facility. The staff can only do so much to keep up with the digusting sweat hogs that leak all over everything they touch then just walk away. Its the users that need to step up or just go somewhere else.Example, watched a tall skiinny guy literally walk around for 45 minutes and sit and or touch dozens of machines without once wiping them down as i was on the eliptical machine.Just go during the less busy times and its great. You dont have to wait on the machines due to the people staring at their phones for 5 minutes between sets, lol.I question why so many even goHappy new yearChange your mind change your life

It’s cheap.But they have zero (0) Olympic bars. No squat racks, either. But they have FOUR (4) Smith Machines, usually only 1 ever being used!!! Why???????It could be a great gym with some minor tweaks. Like getting rid of the stupid lunk alarm and adding some basic gym equipment.

Got a gym membership when I had time to go. Couple months go by and my work picks up so I have to switch to a home workout so I go in and cancel my membership and was told that there was no way to stop their $41 annual membership fee even though I was canceling my membership before the fee day. Had to call the bank and put a stop payment on it. Then had to put a stop payment on my card as well since they tried taking directly from the account and then charging the card. Then they try saying their is no corporate number to call and complain, yet I get calls from a Planet fitness Corp saying I owe the annual membership fee. What a headache. If you don’t care about that portion of it then the gym itself isn’t so bad. Equipment is in good condition and the employees are nice.

It's a very convenient gym for where I live, the staff are fine, and you can't beat the price. Unfortunately there is now a problem with the air conditioning, which comes only sporadically, or not at all. Working out in a gym in Florida with no air conditioning is really tough. Can something be done?

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one is because planet fitness as a gym itself is a good starter gym. Would not recommend stuart planet fitness. I went here for almost 5 months. I cancelled my membership to transfer to another gym. Signed documents and such. Fast forward 4 months down the road at a completely different gym and I notice a 15$ club fee from planet fitness in my bank statement. Just got off the phone with them and they say there is no document ending my gym membership, nothing they can do. Not sure if it was an honest mistake or done intentionally to show a membership being open longer to boost numbers or whatever. Not happy either way. Go to Powerhouse fitness it's much better.

For a planet fitness, it's 5 stars, for a gym, I'd give it 3-4. It's clean and usually not too busy. They have classes that people seem to enjoy. If you're just going to the gym to maintain, this is the place to go. They don't have any real heavy free weights (>60s?) or squat racks. They do have several smith machines though.

Not my favorite location. Has some free weights which is nice but bathrooms need some attention. Other locations are better maintained and much cleaner but still has an overall good feel.

I'm a complete noob to the gym and I feel really comfortable going here. I must say Lenny is AMAZING! If it wasn't for him & his classes, the motivation and support that he gives I may have searched elsewhere for another gym. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had an additional charge that I wasn't told about when I signed up. Also, they should have more than 1 trainer for different classes throughout the day. There's a lot of people that come to this gym that need assistance and guidance and to only have 1 trainer seems a bit ludicrous and unrealistic, I really think the owner/manager should consider this. But again Lenny is awesome and is doing a great job with everyone he deals with and I'll keep going there as long as he is there to help me with my progression on this weight loss journey.

The facility is great, the equipment is up to date bit the staff needs customer service training. I cancelled my membership to this place and took up membership somewhere else. The staff here is mostly unprofessional and definitely not sensitive to the average customers needs ( unless you are an everyday workout finatic)

Here every morning at 430am and this place is spotless. They recently hired a guy who does an awesome job cleaning the facility...The staff here is always courteous and has a smile on their face.. A ++ to the owners. Even though im a Heavy lifter this place has more than enough equipment to get the job done.
