I did a lead belay class that was set up through the Mazamas. The instructor, Brandon, was awesome. He was extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. He also made the class fun, which made the three hours fly by. Highly recommend this climbing gym, and Brandon as an instructor if your thinking of taking any classes.

The climbs are made with quality and the gym is very big with nice staff. Brandon is a very good climbing instructor and knows a lot of climbing history.

Brought a friend to a beginners course, where I expected that they could learn the basics from an experienced teacher. Teacher flew through knots and shamed my friend for not catching on quickly, forcing them to tie multiple knots in front of the entire class. Knots had been shown to students once. Saddened to see a course instructor have a pretentious attitude towards a complete novice. Very disappointed with our experience and the attitude of this gym. Do not give them your business, there are plenty of other excellent climbing gyms elsewhere.

I took the Intro to Climbing class today and had a wonderful time at the gym. The instructor, Ciaran, was tremendously knowledgeable, energetic, and supportive. At the end of the two-hour session, I felt like I picked up a great foundation and enthusiasm for climbing. It was awesome to then get the time to boulder at my own pace for the afternoon. The gym is incredible - great way to get introduced to climbing!
