Highly recommend John Lavoie training for any fitness related goals - whether casually staying in shape, trying to transform your fitness regimen, or a more serious athlete looking to take it to the next level. JLT has a great deal of knowledge that can adapt to any persons needs and a great space that facilitates many types of workouts. Its an excellent personal training option.

John is an excellent trainer who really helped me improve my physical and mental health. John tailors his programming according to the client's needs and creates a welcoming and easy-going atmosphere in his studio. This reflects in the community he has built in his studio which was one of my favorite parts of working with him. Even if I was having a bad day, I knew that I would enjoy going to one of John's group training sessions. This helped me stay on track and did wonders for my fitness.I have since moved to another state, but have remained in touch with John and will soon be starting virtual training with him. Sure, there are good trainers in my state, but I know that working with John will get me the results I want in a comfortable and familiar setting. If you live in the Boston area, I highly recommend you go talk to John about your fitness goals!

I have been working with John for the last few weeks. John does an excellent job listening to what your goals are and effortlessly designing a plan to help meet them.I have several minor lingering injuries, John took close note of the injuries and gave a list of exercises to target them. After just a week of doing them I noticed my pain has started to go away.I am also very impressed with his advice on lifting form. After watching me squat once he was able to identify supporting muscles I have been neglecting for years. As someone who has lifted his entire life, I realized I was doing several things wrong that have caused injuries or would cause injuries in the future.John is truly a professional and great at what he does!!!

John tailored a holistic 1-on-1 circuit for me. We met my goals by the end of our time together and I was able to translate the lessons and mentality to life after training. Perfect for folks who had never worked out with a trainer and might be intimidated.

John is such an excellent trainer. He is really thorough and does everything to ensure you meet your physical fitness goals (for example, if you are trying to gain muscle, he will work with you to develop a satisfactory meal plan). He also has a very nice and clean gym that has a wide variety of equipment. Finally, his rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend John!

I've never been great at physical fitness in the past, and "going to the gym" for me meant hopping on the treadmill or bike for an hour or so. I was lost on all the weights and machines, and didn't really understand what each machine was for or how to use them well. John has really helped me both feel comfortable in a gym setting, as well as understanding how to work out and why I'm doing what I'm doing. I've learned so much in our time so far, and it's really made my life way better and healthier. On top of that John is a lot of fun and has a great approach, helping you push yourself without being pushy, and making workouts rewarding. I highly recommend John Lavoie Training to anyone and everyone, even—or especially—if you're just starting out. Thanks John!

John Lavoie got me in shape. I can't stress enough how great he is: if he worked for me I can guarantee he'll work for you. I had tried a few other trainers before but none that I ever stuck with for more than a month for a number of reasons...but with John, the months came to really fly by. He learns what you want out of the sessions to truly maximize what you get out of it. He's understanding and flexible with scheduling as well which for me was essential. John is a hardworking, personable, funny, and dedicated wellness professional. I got into the best shape I've ever been in my life with John's help. I can't imagine he'll ever be this available again as his business continues to grow - so if you're thinking about signing up with him I wouldn't hesitate another minute.

John helped me train for a Spartan Race back in 2018, and I ended up coming in 3rd place in my age group! He is great at listening to your goals and customizing your workout so that you achieve them.
