Mesa Rim Climbing Center

They have lots and lots of walls, both bouldering and rope. They have a bunch of gym equipment too, and a sauna! Staff is helpful and attentive. They charge the most in the area for a day pass but I thought it was worth it, especially with the sauna.

Easily the best climbing gym in Reno, and honestly a great gym in general. Always clean, a great staff, well set routes that are routinely changed, a welcoming community of people, and lots of other fitness amenities are available. Top it off with one of the best saunas and a good locker room, and you really can't go wrong.

Overall the gym is nice, plenty of routes good people.My issue is with unsupervised children, I almost fell on children multiple times today because they're unsupervised and running under me while climbing or in once case climbing the wall i was already on.They also will just run up to climb a wall you were waiting for, if my climbing experience is plagued with almost landing on children hurting myself and them. Why am I paying a premium to climb here?If they stop children from running around or climbing under people bouldering it would be a 5 star experience.

This is an amazing gym and the most impressive I have seen in my 13 years of climbing. Rosie at the front desk is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. She is an awesome human being. Besides what you’d normally expect from a gym they have great gym equipment like rowers, kettlebells, wall balls, dumbbells and even a squat rack. What blew me away was the crack climbing, however. If you’re a climber in the Reno area or just passing through like I was you need to come check this place out.

Best climbing gym in Reno for sure. Great routes which they change constantly, sport climbing and bouldering,, relaxed and easy atmosphere, showers, sauna, very kind staff. Love this place.

My daughter loves climbing here. She has been a part of the teen climbing team and had a great experience. If you added aerial silk classes she would live at the gym. We found Mesa Rim to be the only gym in Reno where I felt safe dropping her off.

Best climbing gym in town! Great yoga classes, and the sauna is awesome. Much better selection of shoes and guide books than REI.

Great gym with awesome coaches for the teams. Awesome taste in music. The background music are always nice. Obviously someone who cares about music runs it.
