Would be 4 stars if they had auto-belays. Rates just increased to about $74/month, and $75 initiation fee, for that much $ there should be auto-belays and a little more workout equipment. Routes are good, facility is clean though.

Amazing customer service experience and just a very clean solid climbing gym. Stopped in to kill time while waiting for a flight back east and it was perfect. Highly recommend!

It was a 30 minute walk from the airport to get to Mesa Rim Climbing Gym. After being on an airplane all day, this is the perfect place to visit the stretch my legs and to relax. The front desk staff was friendly and engaging and made me feel welcome in Reno.

This place is a playground. My friend invited me to rock climb so I bought their week pass ($32 including the gears) and after that week, I've been coming here. Great atmosphere. They have a bouldering section and top rope. They have yoga classes, cardio and weight equipment, sauna. I love this place!

Great place. I just moved back to Reno and previously spent my time climbing outdoors, but its just a tad too cold here this time of year for that. Mesa is clean, the staff is friendly, and they offer awesome yoga classes. Definitely a place to check out no matter your climbing ability.

A great selection of fun and challenging routes along with an extensive workout area and excellent yoga classes. The sauna is a bonus and has always been clean when I’ve used it. Overall, a very pleasant space, still feels like plenty of room even when crowded.

Decided to check Mesa Rim out when I was passing through Reno on a road trip, really glad I did. Amazing and clean facility, lots of diverse routes and problems. Boulder problems are definitely rated a tiny bit harsher than some places, so be warned. Overall really solid gym with friendly and helpful staff :)

This was a great gym. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I’m surprise so many of the staff remembered my name and greeted me personally. I have no complaints with this gym. When I found out I was moving away I was actually disappointed that I would not get a chance to workout/climb in this facility anymore.In two months I went from a 5.6 to a 5.10-. Definitely fun to see myself getting stronger the more I attended this gym. And even the patrons/customers were super friendly and approachable. Well worth the money, in my opinion.

Some might call it a second home to many. One of my favorite gyms in the country. I have been climbing for 15 years and competed most of my life so I’ve seen a lot of them. My only complaint is that they need a shorter woman to forerun some of the routes so everything isn’t set for a 6’3 man.

Kenan was great at teaching us how to belay safely. He made learning easy and fun. I can’t wait to go back and continue climbing here.
