Mesa Rim Climbing Center

I’m new to climbing and haven’t spent a lot of time in climbing gyms but from my personal experience, this place is great! My number one favorite thing is how kind the staff has been. Everyone has been encouraging and supportive. I’m happy I found this place and that I can start my climbing journey here!!!

Beautiful gym, good variety of graded climbs for all levels, bouldering, lead climbing, yoga classes, weights, friendly/helpful staff and everything you need in a gym. Cost for an adult day pass with shoe rentals was around $20. Definitely would recommend if you are in town.

Need to have reservations to use. Reservations is for 2 hours at the gym. The people that work there are super friendly.

Best gym in Reno! Friendly staff, professional route setting, clean bathrooms, and a great community of climbers. Most are mid twenties and up. I've met many lifelong friends here. Successful people with great knowledge on life! Love you Mesa!!

Great indoor rock climbing gym. Good ceil height and a separate rope and bouldering climb areas.

Mesa Rim is a fantastic climbing gym. They have 55' walls, a whole bunch-o bouldering, a sauna, yoga, free-weights, cardio machines, and the space is just beautiful. During the day, the place is basically empty, no waiting for routes at all. The staff is soooo friendly, and the establishment is run like clockwork. Price is reasonable (except for day-passes, and shoe rentals).

Awesome place! Took the family there for birthday fun. Great climbing, great atmosphere, staff was pleasant and helpful, service was amazing. You can rent everything you need for $7 including kids harnesses and kids climbing shoes. Wore the kids out and the adults didnt want to leave.

Waste of time if you’re a solo climber. No auto belays and stupid rules made up in fear of being sued and with no customer service in mind. Went for a day and got a refund. Go to BaseCamp or hope that Vertical Hold opens a location in Reno.

This will forever be second home. Solid routes, super sweet and helpful staff, lovely yoga classes, and a clean sauna :)It's more than a climbing gym it's a community.

Absolutely wonderful climbing and staff is tremendous. They set the goal for it to be more than just a Climbing gym and they hit it with such an invite team atmosphere!
