Planet Fitness

I don't know how many times I've gotten up in the morning and driven to Planet Fitness in Renton, WA only to find out they have an "anomaly" in their usual schedule and are actually not open as their published schedule says they should be. I see many others make a 180 in the parking lot when they see it too. Their impromptu schedule changes are inconsiderate and they don't auto-generate notices to patrons (no notices via email, Facebook, etc.)

The gym looks great. The staff is friendly, and members are considerate to cleaning the equipment after using the equipment. Overall is not too crowded, and the subscription is very affordable.

It is 2022, the fact you can't keep your hours up to date on your app, google, or your Facebook page is unacceptable for a membership gym. At least for Laborday you had the courtesy to leave a whiteboard with the hours in the window but that doesn't make up for all the other times I've shown up to a randomly closed gym.Update/Response: this is me "reaching out", I'm not going to bother your staff who are already overworked/underpaid as it is when it will literally change nothing more than this review will.

The workers here are so friendly and always willing to help you out with any question that you have. Also any machine that you are looking to get a great workout in they are sure to have it. One of my favorite machines at this location is the rowing machine, you get such a great back workout from it. Whether you go for a quick 45 minutes or you go for 2 hours you will always feel welcomed when arriving and accomplished when leaving.

The General manager here is not very competent in his position. Poor customer service. Jared Has no knowledge of transferring protocols. Doesn’t want to deal with a situation instead he left his employee there to sit with me at the counter for over an hour to try and figure it out on our own. The guy at the counter was great trying to ask Jared for help and Jared was being rude to the guy asking for help to transfer me. Said he’s to busy to help him multiple times. Your suppose to be a GM act like one don’t leave your team out to dry. The GM should be a porter. I guess we get what we pay for. GM 1 star.

As others have said: you are closed randomly with no notice anywhere AND TODAY IT GOT WORSE! your whiteboard said youd be closed from 7:PM to 7:AM today, we show up at NOON to find it still closed with a massive unsafe mess of boxes in the parking lot and a forklift operator who didnt know what he was doing.this is unacceptable, we pay for a membership we can barely use that wastes gas.

My first time there on 2/14/22 only because the one on rainier ave was crowded. This one is not crowded and your able to use all the machines without waiting on anyone. The gym is clean and staff are very welcoming. The only thing I noticed was that they don't have kettlebells but that's not a problem at all.

Dear Management,I rely on the showers provided by your gym. I gym early morning, shower, and go straight to work or school. please do better with maintaining a CLEAN and PROPER bathroom and locker room. In one of the stalls there was 3 strands of floss that's been there for 2 days or more. Additionally, I always see an accumulation of horrifying build-up in and around the sink drain (see photos for reference). I gym in Seattle, Auburn, and Kent. This location is by far one the worse one as far as cleanliness.I see staff rigorously cleaning machines and floors. The cleanliness of the bathrooms are equally as important. Shower are indeed of some DEEP DISINFECTING.this location is convenient and like their layout. I plan on updating this review once I notice better upkeep.

When I first came to this Planet Fitness the manager was really rude & never really smiled. BUT, Shayla had change my whole experience, she is amazing! This woman knows practically every member by their name and it feels like family coming in there, every time she’s working. She’s always help me with information that I need about my account. She is a true asset to this planet fitness. I only get my gluteus maximus in there because she is so awesome to see. She always puts a huge smile on my face.Thank you Shayla for keeping me healthy!:)

I wished I could give higher ratings for this gym in Renton, WA. The equipment,floors, and bathrooms are extremely sanitized with nothing but care is shown for people who walk through these doors. I'd love to give an immense shoutout to the best of what this Planet Fitness has to offer: the staffs. Marcellus, Timothy, and Danny are the only reason I come back here and feel comfortably welcomed; extremely satisfied with these 3 staffs, they do such an amazing job in what they do! 5 out of 5 stars, will be back continuously!
