No regular bench or squat rack. You'll be using one of the smith machines instead, unless you wanna just use dumbbells. Not really ideal, but gets the job done. There's plenty of bikes and treadmills, though. And it's hard to beat the price at just $10 a month for the lowest tier membership. It's a decent spot just to start out at, but you'll probably want to switch to another gym as you progress. If your budget's tight, I recommend it.

It's a big franchised gym. It has low budget bar to join so there are many people here. I can see they clean the equipments daily but also see they are lack of resources sometimes. If you are looking for a fancy and high quality gym, this is not the one. However, with the price and good amount of equipments and maintenance, I would still give it 5 stars.

My home gym is Rainer Beach and a friend invited me to this one last week. The difference is day and night. I seen the staff arrive early. Equipments are clean and are functioning properly. The staff are accessible and friendly.Keep up the great work

Great fitness center, large, roomy lots of equipment, clean, not very expensive for a good membership. It seems to be a great value in my opinion.I chose the "Black Card option, so I can attend any Planet Fitness center in the United states.

Amazing establishment; busy staff, very friendly. Clean areas with various types of equipment; most are keptnin straightened fixture. Great layout for a variety of conditioning. A number of different opportunities for any to build and make a workout.! Anyway, planet fitness in renton is awesome! The restrooms need some accommodations, such as hair dryers, however, the club itself offers a serenity to those that are searching for self improvement. Bust a sweat and get moving at planet fitness.

This location has just started to reopen. Numerous times I’ve come and have had to wait outside. Sometimes up to 15-20 minutes. They don’t offer reservations or have limits to how long customers stay. I have been recommended to use the crowd meter on the App and even AFTER using it & scheduling my arrival based on this tool, it’s not accurate.Poor communication causes inconvenience. Really hope they’re rethinking how their team handles the reopen & everyday operations.

WARNING. Worst experience I have ever had with a company. I am extremely disheartened by my experience at this location. Do not plan on visiting this place if you do not intend to manipulated and trapped into continuously paying without your consent long term for a subpar facility. When I moved I told the front desk my intention of canceling my membership and received verbal confirmation of their intent to cancel my membership. Turns out they never made note on my account, continued to charge me, and refused to cancel me. You have to visit the location to cancel and they tell me this after I moved and was in person notifying them of my intent to cancel?Management is extremely rude and unhelpful and told me it was literally my fault for not confirming and reading the fine print when I got signed up.Run. They will literally try and con you out of your hard earned money then spit in your face and tell you that you are stupid when you try and resolve the issue.

I moved, so this wasn't my main gym. The first time I came in, the staff made it very clear it was annoying to scan in people from other planet fitnesses although I pay for a black card. 2nd time I come in, they require eye protection. I left mine at home, they're out of stock of single use and the reuse ones and I can't tan although I'm a member. Please, make it easier on us members. Thanks!

I really wanted to write a 5-star review for this club, but unfortunately recent events have changed my mind.I joined this club on a pre-paid membership, and when I started the membership I asked if I could transfer to a different club down the road, as I knew I'd be moving. I was told I'd have to wait three months to transfer, but that it would be no problem.Well, five months later I'm unable to transfer to another club - and the management is essentially ignoring that I was TOLD by a member of their staff that I could transfer. They "apologize" that I was given "misinformation" but cannot act to do anything to support the information I was provided. Essentially, they are saying it's OK that one of their associates lied. They aren't obligated to worry about it.I've rarely felt so unvalued as a member. The manager even said, "I'll try to get your membership transferred and if that doesn't happen I'll process a refund." After not being called back by the manager, I had to call three more times to keep the process going. On my penultimate call, the manager said, "I'll contact the accounting office and call you back in 15 minutes."Then...crickets. No call back.So I called back the next day and was told they couldn't transfer my membership and couldn't offer a refund due to the contract I signed. So I guess they don't care that their employees lie in order to get a membership - or that the manager doesn't return phone calls when he says he will.Time for a new gym.UPDATE: As of February 15, with the work of a new manager (Chris), this Planet Fitness made it right and provided a refund based on all that had happened. I am very grateful for his work on this - and have changed my rating. I'm glad this happened on many levels, but one reason is really did like the gym itself. Thank you.

We had signed up right before the lockdown and they'd charged us accidentally twice, but when I came in the first time after they reopened they credited me for the charges with no issue whatsoever and were super understanding and kind. The gym is clean, and they enforce the mask and cleaning requirements well. All the staff are super nice. Zero issues so far.
