I was out of Jiu Jitsu for 10 years due to severe injury. Drove buy and decided to go in and visit. Rolled a little bit and haven't looked back in 3 years. At the age of 49 I'm enjoying competing, training and the jiu jitsu journey more than ever before. Professor Machado is an amazing Instructor and Mentor. Misty is a phenomenal coach. The black belts are unbelievable and actually committed to making everyone around them better practitioners and people. Love BTT, no egos, no crazies, just great Jiu Jitsu.

I love this place! Everyone is super friendly and there's a great sense of community with all the students. Even a super quiet introvert like myself has made friends that keep me going and learning! Only been here a couple months but already learned so much!

Brazilian Top Team is a second home to my family. My husband has been training there for years, our daughter joined a couple years ago, and now I'm the most recent addition to the team! It has been a wonderful experience for all of us. Misty and Machado are some of the kindest people and they make you feel like part of the BTT family. I am so honored to be a part of it and look forward to not only mastering the art, but also building life long friendships. Highly recommend!!

If you are looking to train Jiu Jitsu, I could not more highly recommend BTT North Texas.Having been around sports my whole life I was looking for a new challenge both physically and mentally. After an internet search of martial arts schools near my home, I found BTT and decided to visit. Misty was very welcoming and responsive with my questions. She allowed me to watch a class and then take a free trial without any pressure. I had such a great time that I signed up right away.Jiu Jitsu can be quite confusing for a newbie but the instructors and higher belts are very patient. Prof Machado has built an excellent reputation of respecting the traditions of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu while accommodating students of every age, gender, background and ability. BTT North Texas might be the most diverse group of athletes I have seen in a sport yet it feels like one family. Although challenging and competitive, I love being in an environment that is also safe and fun. It’s also humbling to train with international experts, giving me a new respect for a sport that previously I knew very little about.After training for about 2 months now and could not be happier with the coaches, facility and community. Curiously addictive, I look forward to training as often as I can and hopefully progressing. The Team of Prof Machado, Coach Misty and other instructors absolutely set the bar for creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, while delivering world class training. Come check them out!

It has been a month and a half since I started. I have been attending most of the fundamental classes.Class starts off with stretches and some drilling before going into learning a move. All the instructors answer all the questions if you have them. They will walk around while you are doing the move and will correct your form or help you understand each move.I totally recommend this gym if you are looking into a new sport or learning for self dense.
