I have been training no-gi jiu-jitsu with Professor Seth for 2 years now and have truly enjoyed the experience. I have tried different no-gi teachers through my 15 years in martial arts (Judo and BJJ) and have connected with the style of teaching that Professor Seth brings to Compound Fitness in East Cobb. His knowledge, patience, and humble approach make the class truly enjoyable. I would recommend Seth to anyone looking to start or continue their no-gi training.

Feel safe being part of this gym during COVID. We have been participating throughout the pandemic and we all have remained COVID free! This is the best family friendly gym we have ever been part of. Our 3 kids do brazilian jiu jitsu (bjj), love the teachers. They love being with kids and makes it fun for them. My husband does BJJ and high intensity training which is like cross fit (cardio and lifting all in one workout). I do high intensity training and Muay Thai which is kick boxing. Muay Thai class is not your aerobic type kickboxing you do at the big gyms. It is truly instructional martial arts that is practical self-defense while getting an intense workout. Where else can you work out as a parent the same time you have your child in bjj? Trainers are very knowledgeable and able to tailor the workout based on skill level and injuries. I have tried every form of exercise and diet. This is the most fit I've been. Highly recommend just coming in to check it out. You won't leave =).

I cannot overstate the quality of the instruction and instructors you will encounter at Compound Fitness. The facility is clean and new, and the staff takes strong precautions to keep everyone safe - especially since all the staff train there too! The Juanaconda Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program led by Professor Guevara is top notch, with great emphasis on learning the fundamentals and self-defense applications of the art. The Cross Training fitness program headed by Adam A and April is tough and smart - they will make you sweat and get you to your goals. The boxing and kickboxing programs have great instructors too (Elijah and Adam G), so this is really a good all-around solution. And it's run by good people, which makes all the difference in the world. Also an incredible kid's program with Coaches Megan and Justin. Highly recommend.

Compound is a very clean gym! High energy level from all staff. Very attentive to each individual. Cross Training class is always challenging and purposeful. Cardio Kickboxing is also a great class! Technique is a top priory, including defense and offense strategies. Cardio is built into every class, along with sparing. Very friendly atmosphere. So glad I found this gym!

I am 1 of a group of 4, over 40 non athletes. Brandon Rogers has been able to cater to our needs while achieving our workout goals. He coaches with direction and without judgement. The workouts are both fun and challenging. Although I am not in the body I want to be in yet, I see the progress so far and can't wait to get ther soon.

Compound Fitness offers a comprehensive workout facility. From their CrossFit workouts that include cardio kickboxing to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class, there is something for everyone. Adam pays attention to your workout deficits and works to erase them. Pushing you in safe and friendly style. Professor Juan is truly a master of his craft and makes Jiu Jitsu a healthy fun experience. Truly a gem in the East Cobb neighborhood.

Compound Fitness is great. Bootcamp classes are small, especially morning classes and you get a lot of individualized attention. Lots of variety--never the same workout twice. They also offer a FREE self defense class the first Friday of every month, which is very informative. Owners of the gym are very involved and there every day.

Compound fitness is the best gym in the east Cobb area! I have been there since the first day it was open and have not had a single complaint. The coaches and instructors are fantastic and will tend to your specific needs, whether it’s working out to get in shape all the way to leaning Brazilian jiu jitsu and self defense they offer it all. They also have an amazing kids jiu jitsu program that I teach along with Professor Juan and a few others. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to try it out to stop by for a free week trial! I guarantee that you’ll be beyond happy with everything this gym has to offer.
