Maldonado ATA Martial Arts

My son started at Maldonado ATA, and I love the fact that they offer a month trial. It helped us determine if this would be a good fit for our 4-year old son, who needs structure to help with his ability to follow multi-step instructions and focus and attention.The staff has been terrific! I love watching my son learn new skills with the instructors. They are patient and provide support for our child, while promoting respect to others and confidence. The program is still relatively new to us, but we have already started seeing progress in a short period!

We were looking for something for my 8year old to be more active. He was willing to try karate and we started a trial here back in May. The trial is very affordable during that trial you really get a feel of what its all about. There are many classes during the week with different times they also are very flexible. Initially my son was a little apprehensive about hitting or being aggressive towards anybody but this is really giving him some confidence he never had. Not to hit anyone but to spar defend yourself speak up and be respectful they talk a lot about respect and what parent doesn’t want that. We eventually signed him up he was able to get he’s own gear and weapons he was even more excited !!! Overall we are very happy here this family business is doing something right there’s tons of communication constantly with emails and staff as you are coming and going I also like that there are different instructors through out the week. You can tell they want you to succeed it’s really up to the parent and child to show up and do the work. Thank you Maldonado family and staff!

We absolutely love and trust Maldonado ATA Martial Arts. We Committed to a 1 year contract upfront. Everyone is always so welcoming and caring. I have noticed improvements within 2 weeks of coming in :-) kids are given lots of attention to make sure they understand the drills and do them correctly. This has been my favorite place to exercise and train for over 3 years now. Only place that has kept me exercising consistently as an adult. Love the high energy classes that Mr. Maldonado, father and sons, provide and the wonderful comradery they have created amongst the teen and adults. Always leave feeling my best. !

I went to Maldonado ATA Martial arts to give martial arts a try. I’ve never done martial arts and the instructor and everyone at their facility made me feel comfortable and worked with me to make sure I knew what I was doing. The whole experience was great; it was a wonderful workout, I learned so much in just one visit, and everyone I encountered was amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone at any level.

When I saw my three kiddos in their first session it was a precious. My two boys and girl are usually socially shy, having them have a great timeat Maldonado ATA has been encouraging in self esteem and posture.Mike and his family are very kind and excellent teachers. The staff is very professional and does a very good job of best practices when it comes to cleanliness and sanitation. They sanitize all of the equipment and take the safety of the children very seriously. Moreover, my son Nick just started martial arts and really likes how they are patience with him. I would highly recommend joining Maldonado ATA.

We are so grateful to have found Maldonado Ata. The instructors are amazing, they are knowledgeable and extremely patient especially when dealing with my very energetic child. We feel very safe attending classes during the pandemic, they are very diligent in abiding by social distancing guidelines and the facility is very clean, they go over and above to keep us safe with their cleaning measures.

I am so happy my son and I happened to be walking by Maldonado ATA Martial Arts one day and decided to stop in and get some info about the tiger program. I love the leadership and respect that is promoted in every class. Mr. Maldonado and the whole staff there really seems to enjoy instructing the kids and the kids can tell and respond to it in such a positive way.

Our daughter has been enrolled at Maldonado ATA for almost 2 years - and we're so happy we found this studio. Ellie has learned a great deal about respect, self-confidence, and most importantly, perseverance. The instructors have been instrumental in getting her to believe in herself and push through obstacles. I can't recommend it enough.
