Always love this Planet Fitness. I haven't gone to the gym in almost 10 years and there's so much improvement.

Great place, great staff, great people. Always clean!!! Just a great place to workout. Best gym around.

Good gym, helpful staff and plenty of machines. Place was clean and the showers were plentiful.

Friendly staff, cleaned and safe environment while everyone is enforced to wear masks and practice social distancing. Opens 24/7 including all holidays.

The PF website, the Facebook page for this location, and the google listing say that the Salem, MA location is a 24 hour gym, yet when I showed up at 12:45 I was told tersely that they were closing so I only had 15 minutes. The way I found out that the gym was closed for disinfecting from 1-2 is because I called. The employee told me none of this, just that they close at one. I get that the gym needs to be cleaned (seriously, I’m glad they take the time to do it) but the time that the gym isn’t open should be listed in a place where people will see it when they look up the hours.

Every night I come in, the weeknight maintenance guy, (I think his name is Randy) is rude. I’ve tried to say hello and he just ignores me. He also disappears throughout the night and doesn’t keep up with cleaning, leaving the other guy (I think is name is Jay) doing the cleaning up by himself. The difference between both gentleman is night and day. Jay always greets you, asks if you need anything, and acts more like a friend to you compared to the other guy.Randy always has an attitude and disables machines too early in the night so no one uses them. After he does that, he disappears and people are left waiting for machines because they are still in maintenance position.

I recently joined again cause my gym, the ymca closes early and I can't make it cause of work. So I went to pf on Tuesday night and I was appalled at the covid standards comparing it to the ymca..there was soo many people, it was hard trying to find a spot to workout in..then the sanitize station is ironic because pf promotes how its touch free scanning to sign in, but everyone has to touch spray bottles. How come you guys haven't transition to sanitize wipes? I saw many members not wipe anything down. Everyone uses the same pen to sign in...The staff on Tuesday night just sat around and talked. During the busiest hours I didn't see any of them sanitizing anything 😕 just pretty sad first experience back..

The gym is always clean. Staff constantly refills sanitizer/cleaning bottles. Weights are put back to their racks by staff once in a while, which is a plus for the staff, but unfortunate for people that don't clean up after them self.

Easy parking, great price, machines and weights all work as expected. The cleaning is a bit behind though and many of the other members toss weights around, don't wipe their machines after using, etc. Overall a good experience though.

This gym was recently remodeled even though I did not see the before the after is clean and organized. The machines are relatively up to date and maintained. My only gripe is that there are too many cardio machines which has pushed the free weights and weight lifting machines close together. When two people are on adjacent machines they are definately closer then 6ft. The lack of weight lighting machines also causes a wait.
