This place is @ full capacity on Monday nights (think amusement park levels of people @7pm). If you need to bench/back squat, you will have to search for plates every time - they're never in the same place. But what makes this gym worthy of 5 stars is it's cheap price and variety of equipment. It has equipment you probably won't see in other high-end gyms for workouts in olympic weightlifting, crossfit, powerlifting, boxing, and swimming. This gym also has a little day care area for kids!

The place was okay in the beginning but is going major ghetto. The manager turned the hot water off in half of the showers by rigging the handles so you only get cold water. In my long experience of health clubs this is a sign they are in trouble financially--I've seen this over and over just before a club eats it. THe locker rooms are trashed most of the time. About half the staff are anti-white Mexicans. . .not friendly at all.I would not join this club now. . .

I been coming to inshape since their beginning of time here in Salinas. Staff is nice. However, the equipment is always broken. My main disappointment is that the gym on Davis daycare closes from 12 to 4. I been to other gyms and their daycare opens from 8am to 9pm. Inshape on Main st doesn't even have a daycare.

I just started attending and found it to be aExcellent place, the staff at the daycare center are very friendly, it gives me confidence to leave my baby in their care while I exercise!!!

Place is always full, morning or night. Staff is ok. you won't always get to use the equipment you want due to how full it always is.

I would have given 5 star but I think they need to have a strict rule about reprimanding anyone hoarding machines. People only do this because the establishment don’t say anything. I have talked to few people who uses this gym and have same observations. It should be that you can only use one machine at a time and let the other gym members use when they need it and not to wait until some inconsiderate individuals decides that they aredone using 2-3 machines, claiming they are on a routine. Well if that’s the case BUY your own machines and stay at home! PS. The management will in the end looses members if this issue would not change . Would not want to end up leaving this place cause of that.
