Pretty big and pretty clean. Has a dedicated circuit training area too. Weight area can get crowded though.

I went 6/18/2016 the steam room smell so bad we ask on front desk if somebody can wash but they say they are busy havent' not time when they only speak and doing anything.... The answer just is laugh!!!!0

Large gym and they just expanded it but the free weight area was only moved and not expanded - way too small and always overcrowded. The owner(s) should take a trip and check out Gold's Gym in Mountain View sometime

I love going to this gym. Im a recovering addict and working out at your gym every day is what helps keep me sober. You guys have so many varieties of workouts and machinesI love the Mua Thai boxing bags. Going to try the lap pool to get some cardio and then relax in the sauna to get some of my sore muscles to relax then I'm back at the weights. Your customer service is great.

I don't have to many options in Salinas.In the past few months this has become one of my favorite places to be at. I am taking 2 stars out because you guys close way to early Saturday and Sunday and I feel the location is not clean like other locations in had visited before. I like your friendly crew!

I would of give in shape a five but am disappointed. I enjoy going to the gym but, it seems that membership never keeps their word. I signed up and my husband joined a month after we were told that we would recieve a coupon in the mail within a week so we could get our in shape bag. We waited and checked the mail and no coupon arrived. We went back to the same person who signed us up and she told us that it was not a week and we needed to wait a month it is close to three months and no coupon ever arrived and no bag was ever given. In reality the bag isn't important to us but, it would be nice if the company kept their word. I also wanted to give some input. I always hear over the intercom in the pool area telling kids no jumping in the pool. It would be nicer if they would also announce over the intercom of a friendly reminder for members to clean the machines after each use.

My name is David and there is a few things that are pretty bad about this in shape but one in particular. I go every day running, swimming, or core and I happen to try out inshape with a 45 day free trial pass. I run to the gym like always and swim. I get in to the pool around 8am and swim till 8:30am. I then dry off and go to the big room where I see a group of women be instructed on mates. Half the room is empty and I usually don't lift weights so I think, I'll just go on the other half and do my own workout quietly. Little did I know that the instructor, Sandy, would be rude to me and give me a tone about not being allowed to get fit on the half of the side of the room that they weren't using. "It's company policy." Its company policy to not get fit, when there is obviously a lot of room. Yeah Sandy. Thanks for being rude to a ex future customer of InShape. I hope making people feel like crap and not letting them work out when there is plenty of space and room for acceptance. I will never buy inshape. The staff has an attitude and when you do have room to work out, the free weights are always packed, they don't let you because of their ego. Have fun being a personal trainer.

I have been here several times while visiting from out of town. The lap pool is great but a tad too warm and a tad too crowded sometimes. The gym has a huge amount of equipment and a moderate amount of members there in the early morning (7-9). I like using the huge gym/classroom for stretching and body exercises but that means sharing with some rather loud classes that they have scheduled. Fair prices.
