Chuze Fitness

Small but nice. They've got tanning beds, hydro massage tables (10 minutes at a time allowed), and saunas (also time limited). A few squat racks and a platform which is nice! Even have stall bars (not common in most gyms). Locker rooms/showers are nice.

Not really impressed with the gym. The location I went to is located in Mission Valley. But I can say they are affordable. They have all the equipment you need to get fit. Just didn’t give me that energy you should have when you go to the gym. There is no swimming pool and the parking lot is horrible really hard to find parking there’s no street parking allowed. I plan to join this gym and see how it goes. The thing that was attractive to me is the exercise classes I like Cycling and Zumba. Thanks

Tons of equipment and machines, super friendly staff, and great vibes! I’m a newbie at the gym and I feel very comfortable here. It never feels like I’m being judged or watched (that’s always a downside for me). It does get a little crowded on weekdays after work, but never to the point of not being able to do my complete workout

The staff here are cool but this location is pretty garbage. They don't have running water half the time I come here, the WiFi almost never works, you will have to circle the parking lot several times before finding a spot. It's fine as far as commercial gyms go but if you're serious about the gym I wouldn't get a membership here.

Great gym! The staff here are super friendly and welcoming. They are always helpful to their members and answer all your questions. The facility is very clean. Shoutout to Russell and Becca for being super friendly and always hyping me up.

As someone with a body type that very much deviates from what is considered “acceptable” I can’t say I’ve felt welcome here. On several occasions I’ve walked past people who were talking quietly and as soon as I pass by them and they look at your body they start loudly laughing- and go back to talking quietly as soon as I pass- this has happened with both patrons and staff almost every time I visit. You’d think that since they look down on us they’d be happy you’re at the gym. I feel very uncomfortable here and I can’t say they take inclusivity seriously here at all. I know that there are other establishments in the city that do have this in their mission statement.

I've been to several of the other Chuze locations in San Diego and this one is definitely the best! From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff welcomes you in and accommodates to any needs. If you're looking for a decent gym for a great price, this is the place!

This gym can be crowded especially when most people get off work (4-6pm) but it has a lot of great equipment and the staff is super friendly. I don't have a membership yet (I can come in as a guest daily due to my friends membership), so I can't comment too much on the prices, but it doesn't seem unreasonable compared to other gyms. Overall, I'd recommend it.

Chuze fitness is by far the best gym I have ever been a member of. The members of this particular location seem to be really focused on their workouts. This is the only chain of gyms that have infrared saunas. The staff here is exceptional!

Great gym at a perfect price. Newly remodeled, the mission valley location feels like a day at the spa. With the premium membership( only $20 a month) you get a full gym, free and assisted weights, yoga, rowing, stationary bikes and climbers, and even cross training gear.The extra amenities that really make joining a no brainer are the unlimited use of infrared saunas, hydro massage beds, and stand up tanning beds (all brand new!).I actually am a member of the MMS gym the Arena, but keep my Chuze membership because of the ammenties and rowing, and because it's such a great deal.The staff is beyond friendly. They rememberMy name and make me feel they are happy to see me. I highly recommend Chuze fitness.
