Crunch Fitness - San Jose

Amazing newly renovated gym in East Berryessa and walking distance from most grocery stores. Perfect place to come to if you want to get different kinds of workouts in. They have classes too which are fun and easy to follow. Trainers are helpful and understand where their focus is needed. 100% recommend!

Nasty facilities. Bathrooms are gross and outdated. No toilet paper in stalls trash everywhere. Been to many crunches across U.S this is definitely the worse so far

The place is dirty, there is never soap in the bathrooms, the music is too loud and completely obnoxious. The workers shout over the intercom when bored.

It's a good gym, but I already received like two payment that I didn't approve, but I solved it, but something I don't like it's that many times they close without an advice, like today, I just came and it's closed early 😕 …

Overall, this is a great gym if you're looking for decent equipment to get a good workout going. My major gripe, however, is that a handful of these machines are not 100% fixed. For example, some of the machine adjustment knobs are popped off, so you can't make any adjustments to fit your body structure. Also, one of the leg extension machines is missing the pad? Also, please add a sauna!

Good fitness center with group classes, gym, swimming pool. Major con is the location. Felt scary to park my car, you can see homeless shelters around the parking lot.

Gym staff never ON the AC so gym is very hot, always sweating very-very hot inside gym NO Ac. I have complained at front desk 2 times they said we can’t do anything, they just open main gate to get air. We get very stinking smell

Worst experience being there they have horrible staff who are disrespectful and give so much attitude never going back.They should really pay attention to the type of staff they hire. Definitely had to cancel my membership on the spot.Another bad thing about the ac they say it’s broken but it’s not they don’t want to spend money so they turn it off it gets so musty in there it’s hard to breathe. I’ve had some of the workers tell me so another reason Yes its cheap but go pay the price of a better quality gym.Hrs are also trash you can’t really enjoy working out and they close at 2 on holidays idk why they have the gym open.

Awesome gym! It has new equipment. The staff are friendly and great. The membership cost is perfect, affordable and not at all expensive. You’re not going to be able to find another awesome gym for $14.99 per month. I also love how Crunch Fitness is a very empowering gym. Everyone who comes here to work out are respectful, determined and positive.My only critique is that it does get PACKED very quickly between 2 pm to 9 pm, but that is very common with any gym. They’re not really great when it comes to pausing/canceling memberships. I moved out of town for college and I had to temporarily pause/cancel my membership via email, but the staff didn’t do it on time causing charges to continue. Other than that, GREAT gym!
