So grateful for OTF and their coaches. The community is pretty cool and fun also! My original plan was to learn/practice and then flee after three months. I love it here though. I’ve never been one to exercise however I enjoy it now and look forward to all classes thanks to my favorite coaches Aly, Emma, Danielle, Alyssa and Michelle! You ladies rock and are the absolute best motivators and leaders. Thank you!

Efrain, I'm not sure why you continue to rate our studio low when we have no record of you visiting and you did not respond to my request for you to reach out to our General Manager back in April. We would like to help you with any problem … More

I’ve been to many OTFs in the South Bay — if you’re reading this review as a prospective new member, I genuinely recommend choosing another location such as Milpitas or Sunnyvale over this one as your home studio. Reason being, all the studios in the area have the same membership rate, but this studio has significantly more outdated and worn out equipment than all the other ones I’ve been to, and coaches here don’t give you the same kind of attention as other places.I’ve still attended several classes here since it’s close by. I am guessing that most of the coaches here have been at this studio for a while, because they expect members to already know many of the exercises on the floor and sometimes don’t even demonstrate them because “you all probably already know this.” (another reason I suggest looking elsewhere if you’re a new member)I get that we can wave our hands at the coaches if we have any questions, but sometimes the template is just so fast paced it’s hard to get their attention unless they actually walk close by. I’ve been in classes where the coach stands around the computer area over half the time and doesn’t really walk around. Also, customer service here is really spotty. The team is friendly don’t get me wrong, but many of the times I’ve called, nobody ever picks up. Today I arrived to the studio and mentioned that I had attempted to call them. One of the team members explicitly said that since it was already 5 minutes after a class started, they didn’t need to pick up the phone anymore. I’m so confused by this because what if it was a new customer on the other line? What if a member was calling just to ask a question? If someone unluckily happens to call 5 minutes after a class starts, their call would just be rejected? Makes complete sense :)

We love, love, love the variation of exercises, length of classes, and supportive community of coaches, staff, and members (we love the brag boards and excitement around benchmark challenges). We could not recommend Orangetheory more to anyone needing a workout routine that is easy to maintain and provides measurable fitness results.

Nothing to do with the coaches or workout, but the company has an unclear cancelation policy. When I tried to clarify via email correspondence, I was told information that contradicted itself. When I pointed this out and continued to ask about the cancelation policy, I was literally ghosted and the studio stopped responding to me Some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered (Aubree was the one specifically!). They clearly do not care at all about their members here.
