Great studio, but student etiquette is lacking, my last visit:- Multiple people getting up a going in and out of the class- The girl that looks like she just came back from a rave who came in 5 minutes late, did her own routine half the class and left two times. Very is distracting and set my vibe off the whole class.I like this place and come to relax and not be distracted by people coming in and out of the the class. The staff really needs to be more strict on this.

Amazing yoga place located right in Santana row! I’ve done yoga at other studios, but this studio really knows friendly customer service, and LOVE the towels (eucalyptus scented) they offer! I would definitely recommend trying them out, and love the variety of classes they offer :)

Amazing experience at hot 8 so far! I did my trial week and tried 4 different classes for the price of just one which was an amazing deal. I immediately signed up for a membership doing 5 classes a month. I genuinely look forward to coming in each week, and it seems like that is the vibe across the board from everyone there. All the staff are incredibly friendly and make an effort to learn each persons name as you join. There is a great sense of community here and I definitely recommend to anyone who is interested!

I’ve taken a few different classes at Hot 8 yoga and every class has been a pleasure! The instructors push you and you end up leaving with an amazing workout. The facility is clean and all the staff are amazing. I highly recommend them to everyone no matter your skill level ;)

I started with the $8 first week plan and got the chance to explore different types of hot yoga classes. The plan is valuable to gain access to all levels of training. The classes are great and instruction is easy to follow, place is clean, and cool towels are available all the time. Nice lockers to put your stuffs in, and no need to worry about the parkings since the location is nearby the garage.

The instructors are incredible and the place is. Super clean!! I just wish the instructor would correct us a bit more when we are doing an incorrect posture. Also wish the instructors had a microphone as some of them SHOUT across the room; we are trying to do yoga and be relaxed. Not yelled at…

Like the new studio and location and reception stuff is welcoming. However the class quality and delivery has not been consistent- while half of instructors are good, there’s another half of inexperienced instructors and you never know who you will get this time. For +$200/month price tag you would expect better quality control of the class delivery and 100% of instructors to be experienced. Also please get your instructors microphones because you can hardly hear them, and get someone to select proper music - upbeat western pop during slow yoga movement doesn’t feel right…

Love love love Diane from 26 & 2 class. She is very detailed and easy to follow during the class. First time back to yoga since 2019 and this studio is very welcoming and the instructors are all great!! Definitely would recommend to yoga beginners or those looking for a new studio.

I tried Hot8 Yoga in Santana Row and liked the idea of a heated class as It warms my muscles quickly. I tried 6 instructors and 3 were excellent. Job, Mariam and Jen. And what makes a class a great experience is alignment knowledge, their passion, their care for the student, assisting in form correction. A instructor cares for all their students not just helping one or two. The studio itself is in a great location. The locker room has nice amenities such as shower towels, Kleenex, q-tips, lotion, razors, plastic bags for wet clothing. But wish the locker room had more seating especially next to the shower.

The studio is new and maybe this is the reason why there is lot of discrepancy between instructions levels: some power classes flow really well and feel, but some other classes have sequences that don’t make much sense and are confusing for all the students in the class. I really enjoyed Lisa’s way of teaching: gentlemen and powerful at the same time, but I was displeased in other classes when say people in class without mask 😷 or the room at capacity sweating on on-another’s mat. I don’t think I am really ready for that level of proximity while people breath intensively and in a heated room. Other than that I liked the studio and perhaps I would consider joining after the pandemic is resolved or if they had marking in the floor to keep distances. Finally the showers 🚿 have really low pressure so, although the changing rooms are clean I would recommend to shower at home.
