Johann has a vast knowledge in the field of strength and conditioning. Johann helped me put on 10+ pounds in the few short months we worked. We did many different exercises to develop power, strength, and endurance using: kettlebells, Olympic lifts, free weights. In the few short months, I learned to properly move my body, greatly helping me in and out of the gym.

As a fitness professional and multiple time npc competitor, I really love training with johann! He's professional kind, and smart .Training with him was fun and very worthwhile.When we trained I enjoyed mostly the kettlebell moves we learned (which was intense) and got to work punch mitts too.consider him and Downtowns Underdog Personal Training if you want honesty and quality in your training and good kettlebell classes!

What I love most about Johann's take on personal training is that it is so varied! What I find most difficult about working out is how quickly I get bored doing the same exercises. Johann is successful in targeting the same muscle groups doing so many different workouts you never get bored. Each session goes by so quickly and the results were awesome.

I was able to lose 35 pounds with the encouragement and discipline that I was taught at Underdog Training. I still have long way to go, but with Johann as my trainer I am very confident I will achieve my goals.

I am a long time distance runner and RN ... he's always been there with support and advice!Johann's a quality personal trainer whose been in the business for over 14 years is educated, great personality, great work ethic, dedicated and non judgemental.I'd rather work out with a personal trainer like Johann in the downtown San Jose studio than at a big gym... you know you're getting quality!For weight loss, conditioning even kettlebells and strength!
