I'm from UK and I was in San Jose for work for a week and looking for some rowing. The team were great, friendly and welcoming and I thoroughly enjoyed a hard crew vs crew workout - I'm an older competitive masters rower and sculler and it was good to be faced with something quite different to my usual training. I can totally recommend these guys and if/when I'm next in the States will certainly look them out for a session or two

RowHouse North San Jose is amazing, really pleasant and supportive staff and amazing coaches. I especially enjoy Ava, Julia & Mirianne's classes. The workout is perfect regardless of what shape you're in and the music and group experience makes all the difference for me.

Great place to work out for 45 minutes and then get back to work! Coaches are incredible.

Cancellation policy is really bad. You have to give 30 days written notice to cancel your membership. Gym staff doesn't mention this explicitly while signing up.

Good group of people. Nice clean facility, hospitable front desk, great cool temperature to row and fantastic rowing leader and trainer Sydney Acosta made the experience a positive session.

Row House Fitness is great!! I'm just starting to exercise again and I like that rowing moves most of my body and doesn't give me shin splints like running did. Coach Ava and Coach Sydney have been very informative and motivating throughout the workouts and the music is fun too. Cindy at the front desk has been wonderful with helping me with scheduling and answering questions as well. Thanks all! Also, all the stats on the rower are sent via email and are on the app so you can keep track of your progress.

Row House provides a great workout. The staff members are very friendly and helps people new to rowing like me learn proper form while keeping the atmosphere light and fun.

It is very similar to the spinning class I used to take in the gym. The 45 minutes are divided into warm-up, acceleration, sprint, interval, relaxation, stretching and other time periods, and some squats, dumbbells and other actions are also arranged in the middle. When accelerating, dim the lights, amplify the music, and fill the atmosphere😄Similar to spin, most of the time, students follow the rhythm and slogans of the coach on stage, and sometimes the coach walks to each student to guide and encourage them💪Today’s class is leading by coach Sydney A. Seeing some newcomers, she taught us how to tie ankle straps, how to do straight-leg pulls, transition to full slides, and tell us the meaning of the data on the meter. She was very patient. Thanks for professional guidance👍
