Honestly I enjoy this gym because I love a group of fit women working out here. There is a you get crowd too so less creepy older men here.

Women’s locker/changing room needs a serious upgrade and to be cleaned way way way better. It’s pretty gross in there!

Four stars for Oswaldo (maintenance) and Carlos (janitorial). They both do a great job, especially Carlos, who has kept the facility clean and wet room disinfected. It’s way better than it used to be a few months ago. Most of the staff are nice as well.

For the newcomers, beware of the SHORT Hispanic male that is about 4’9”. He thinks that he owns the whole gym, and if you accidentally get on one of his many work out station. He will show you his FLAMING attitude. Catch 22, if you ask me.

Not a lot of group exercise classes . Bathrooms and showers are disgusting. Now the location in cities such as walnut creek, San Ramon, livermore are best, why the east bay locations can be as clean , and have nice equipment and better instructors just like those locations?

Uneven cheap flooring in the weights section I tripped twice amazed no one got hurt or sued them yet. The treadmills have been here since my grandparentsMoved the to bay old old old. I’ll snap a picture of below the leg press machine to show you they don’t believe in vacuuming. Disgusting gym avoid at all costs, drive to the Hayward one if you can

Gym wise the place is good. There are plenty of equipment for everyone to work out. Ages of members range from teenagers to the very old. The older folks seem to prefer hanging out by the jacuzzi or dry sauna.Beware of the locker area. There are thieves who loiter the area. It can happen when you least expect it. I suspect that some employees may be in on it. When my wallet was stolen management refused to release videos of the time when it happened. I knew the race of the individual but they argued that it was racial profiling. I won't get into the details here. Just remember to use a strong lock. Thieves keep targeting the whimpy locks. They know all too well. There are also pranksters who steal towels, so that when you finish showering you have nothing to dry yourself with. One heavy set male employee had been acting suspicious during a 7am shift.
