I have been going here for a couple months now several times a week with others. By far being my best preference for a 24hour gym by far in comparison to many others in the bay area; it is even open for the full 24 hours. I refuse to go other locations after going to this one. Many machines, wide swimming lanes, more swimming lanes than other locations and the chlorine is not potent as other locations. Always a heated pool / working hot tub when I visit. If people are complaining about bathrooms cleanliness; that's not why you're at a gym. It has working equipment, good sized locker rooms, the most well maintained modern shower rooms in comparison; they even have doors that close unlike other locations, another location does not even have doors! Been to couple other locations without hot water for long periods of time into weeks. It can get busy during Monday-Friday from 5pm-9pm, but that's expected; but machines and weights are still available even so.

unfortunately I witnessed and lived a horrible experience of prejudice in this unit by the manager himself and people who were there, they expelled me and my friends from inside the sauna super rude saying that I could not wear shoes inside the sauna but everyone had shoes, the gym is very dirty all the time they don't clean it properly, two days ago there was a man with a garlic cream inside the sauna and nobody said anything and the smell was unbearable.

I’ve never been in a gym so dirty, that's sad, because with so much potential to be a great place, with beautiful people, and big! The manager was not able to be polite and resolve my problem. Some American people were laughing about my primary language, I’m very disappointed, it's the best option close to my house, but I'm really concerned about workout here next time!

Filthiest gym in the area🤮These photos are just from the restroom. The entire facility isn’t clean. And the people at the front desk don’t even say hello and greet people. They are just sitting there not paying attention to what’s happening in the facility.I understand that people should be more conscious and not make the facility dirty, but it is on the staff to maintain a clean place for customers.

I’m not the type to care for gym cleanness or crowdedness but this gym is a bit much. I swim I don’t use the equipment but the equipment has sooooo many people on it and the pool is ridiculous I went in there every lane was taken and one was a class of kids which is whatever but finally when me and my fiancé got a lane less than 10 mins two more people get in the same lane and practically push us out. Which is whatever not the gyms fault but the whole reason I’m writing this is because the amount of Chlorine is ridiculous I was in for an hour and a half and my eyes were burning and body. I showered at the gym hoping it would help but it didn’t I went home and was still burning my arms back legs itched and my eyes and face were really red and I couldn’t blink without her being in pain. Kids should not be allowed to be in this water I put a cloth on my face and slept for the night after putting coconut oil all over my body, morning after my skin is dry and still itchy and after I showered it only barley subsided, cut to hours after the shower and I’m still smelling like chlorine. Do not put your kids in this pool.

Packed at 10 pm. Wait time to get a bench ~10-20 min. 2 stars because has lots of squat racks. Could use more squat racks and more bars.

Horrible service. I tried for a free trial and one of the workers was so rude to me and judged me based on how I looked. I do not recommend this gym as my friends say it is nasty. You guys have dissapointed me and you guys can start buy hiring nicer people.

This gym has everything you need- price is very reasonable. The only downside is, it’s always busy!! Jose in the front desk super friendly and super informative. Def will come back when I visit San Mateo again!!!

There are about 30 people to a machine/item at any one moment. Doesn’t matter if it’s 7am or 7pm, 10pm or 2pm, there will be 200-300 people in there. It’s insane. Everything is filthy, weights are everywhere, huge groups of steroid filled teens using the same upper body machines/equipment at the same time. Don’t waste your money, you’ll never use anything and if you do it will take hours. The worst gym I've ever used.

Awful place, lie with agreements and fees and never can solve any issue but if you need somebody charge you money without ask they are the best one.
