I was only in town for 4 days. This gym was close to my hotel. The Front desk staff Vivian made signing up through active and fit quick and easy. The facility itself is clean, and space is efficiently used for the club size! The manager, Jessica was incredibly professional the entire time and with a smile on her face!I will visit this place again when I return to San Fran. If you’re looking for a gym, I recommend!

Very nice gym and the staff seems to be very nice and the place always seems to be clean plus the price is very affordable

TLDR: Do not fall for their new membership promos. This gym is worth LESS than it’s price and should be avoided if you’re interested in non-cardio exercise equipment. If you enjoy workouts before 9am or only use cardio equipment, then go for it.On paper, this gym is hands down the best value option and conveniently located for those living in the San Bruno area. Lots of cardio equipment, although squat racks and benches are limited to 2 each, and is generally clean. From time to time, things break down like exercise machines or the toilets, but they are usually fixed within a week.Overcrowding and handling of membership are what makes this gym impossible to recommend. They are constantly running new membership promotions, be it waiving annual fees or offering reduced monthly dues. I have varied my visits to this gym at all times of the day (i.e. 6am, 9am, 11am, noon, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm, 9pm) and it is ALWAYS crowded, with the one exception being early morning (before 9am).Those limited benches and squat racks I mentioned before? Forget it. The chances of you using one without waiting a minimum of 10-15 minutes or up to half an hour is basically zero. With all the promotions they’re running (I’ve rarely visited without finding ad board up front) means this problem will only get WORSE. If you’re new to the area and looking for a gym, buy some dumbbells and a chair to workout at home (because that’s about all you’ll get to use here) or pay up for a nicer gym.On cancelling membership: just know that you’re locked in for the duration of your 12-month contract, unless you become medically unable to workout or move 25+ miles away. A buy out option is available, but this gym outsources their membership billing to another company, ABC Fitness (see: skirting responsibility and poor customer service). Always read the fine print!

I enjoy the zumba classes and the clean facility. I wished there was a greater variety of classes. I've attended bollyx and ujam classes elsewhere and really enjoyed it. I hope more classes will be added soon. And a clock in the dance studio would be helpful.

When I signed up for the membership one of the employees named Jessica told me the gym it’s quite empty and there was not many people. She lied to me just to make me sign for the yearly membership. The gym is full all day long! And they keep accepting new people and making ads to bring more people. I don’t even go there anymore. If you’re not familiar with the gym environment and noisy people deadlifting and recording every movement to their social media this gym may not be the right one for you.

I’m a regular at Suzetty De Barrueto’s class. She is THE BEST instructor I’ve ever had. Her classes encouraged me to become a Zumba instructor myself! Her energy, dancing style and great behavior make my day. She gets along with everyone and we feel like a big family!

Suzetty is an excellent Zumba instructor. I have been a member of City Sports for years and joined Fitness 19 additionally because I love dancing with Suzetty. Her high energy, enthusiasm and her individual choreographies make her classes so fun and enjoyable. She dances all areas in the front, back, left, right, middle of the studio so every student can see and learn and become confident. She is caring, loving and encouraging. I travel across the town and run between gyms to attend her classes each week. She is amazing and her classes are so effective and I feel good mentally and physically after each of her class.I am very sad and disappointed if Suzetty will no longer be teaching at Fitness 19 especially her leaving is due to unfair comments from another member.I hope the management team bring Suzetty back and not let the members down.

I'm extremely sad and upset to hear my Zumba instructor Suzette is no longer teaching at Fitness 19 San Bruno because of the unfair complaint issue.I have been taking Suzette's Zumba class for many years even when she hasn't start teaching at Fitness 19 San Bruno. She is an amazing instructor who always brings her students full of energy and happiness. She has always maintain a positive and pleasant atmosphere for all her students. I always enjoyed her classes. As a regular student in both San Bruno and Daly City, I have noticed when Lindsey attend classes, she will make her own noises as she moves with the music and this can really cause disturbance to the instructor and other students. I totally feel that Lindsey misunderstood Suzette when Suzette tries to talk to her. This has nothing to do with age discrimination.Fitness 19 San Bruno should investigate first before jumping to a conclusion. This is totally not being fair to Suzette. Also the review by Lindsey should be removed.

Fitness 19 San BrunoI am uncomfortable and sad because my Zumba instructor Suzetty quiet her job from San Bruno of the unfair complaint issue. One of the day her student YSABELLE LINDSEY make a big strange noise at her class in every sec, she made me annoying and disturb the class, her noise is very inappropriate, after class I saw some of students complain that issue with Suzetty. On Dec 21, 2022 that student show up in her class just stay few mins than left, I don’t Keon what happen of her but I knew that lady always made a strange noise in each sec at Daly City location too. Suzetty never censor her during the class, we feel that Suzetty was put in an unfair position due to a misunderstanding, she is an amazing instructor, I really enjoy in her class. She brings the energy and the motivation to each and every on of her class. I want her back to work. Is there any silver lining that 19 fitness could helped? And what is the best way forward to his matter? With that we would like to hand it over to the 19 fitness manager Ms. Jessica to helped if possible. This is certainly an important topic for all her Zumba students at some point. We want her to stay with us. I definitely will recommend her class to all my friends.
