I’m a fighter, have been since my high school days fighting in backyards to make some lunch money. For a long time I didn’t think I’d be on a fight team for various reasons, I trained alone at a karate dojo. When I asked Mike Bueno if it was ok to train with him and Team Santos in preparation for an upcoming fight, Mike and the fighters at Team Santos welcomed me with open arms. I’ll never forget that day September 18 2018. Since becoming apart of the team and being a student of Jon Santos, my life has truly changed. The amount of love, support, and passion at this Dojo is incredible. I love my team and I love what Jon Santos has created. Jon has a saying, “ just train “ and it’s powerful, Jujitsu is revealing. It pulls layers off of the participant; you really learn a lot about yourself rolling on the mats. Jon makes better men and women, consistently motivating and encouraging us to be the best we can be. Best BJJ gym out there took me in with open arms and I’m greatful for everything I’ve been taught and everyone I’ve been able to train with and learn from. The instructors are the best and everyones goal is to make each other better to be able to dominate attackers on the streets or win competitions and sport fights.

Awesome place to train! Jon Santos (instructor) is incredibly knowledgeable and keeps us all honest. Great group of people and just about the best work out you can find. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their quality of life.

We love Team Santos! Both of my sons absolutely love attending and are grateful for being so welcomed by them! …. Jon is an excellent instructor, very professional and works great with the kids! Not only do they teach the art of Brazilian jujitsu, they work to instill ethical and moral principles in the kids they instruct. Jon focuses on health and well-being, and really works hard to instill confidence in young students. The rates are also very reasonable and the ambience is extremely inviting. He has trained some of the very best who actively compete in tournaments, even several that fight professionally in MMA. His instructors arefantastic, patient and encouraging. They treat you like family and are very accommodating, even offering private lessons. We feel very fortunate and having found Team Santos and I look forward to watching my sons on this journey!

Best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in the Bay Area. Super friendly and excellent instruction. There are so many benefits to attending class here I can't name them all. Confidence. Getting in shape. Self defense. Camaraderie. The people I train with have truly become family, like brothers and sisters. You will leave each class knowing that there is no place else you would rather be. I will never train anyplace else.
