24 hours! Why is it not 24 hours. Way to many members to close at night. Just docent make sense. I love the equipment but I hardly get to use because everyone only has a small window to workout

It's a gym... Besides that vasa as a company can't even give their gyms the stuff they need to fix stuff. The swimsuit dryer has been "off and on" the past 3 months but if you ask me it hasn't been working once since it started up. I have to shower because I go to work right after the gym so if I don't want mildew clothes and a towel I literally have to air dry and wear wet underwear when I leave this place.

Great gym with loads of space, well-maintained equipment, and really friendly staff. This location is better than others and it’s one of the few gyms with a sauna in the area. They keep the sauna right around 180 degrees. My only complaint is the music selection and volume level, but that’s all gyms.

This particular VASA is better than my local VASA in Tooele. The bathrooms/locker room are clean. The equipment works properly and they have a limited number of broke down equipment. They have many amenities such as a pool, sauna, hot tub, squat room, woman specific area and many classes.

Alright. It’s been a month of this place and so far so good. The basketball court needed to be repaired and sure enough it was fixed and waxed since being here. The staff is friendly and the regulars are also friendly as well. I would give this place a 5… but the swimsuit dryer has been broken for a month! I understand a week, I even understand 2 weeks. But a month is entirely too long for this to not be handled. I told the staff I’ll give this place a 5 as soon as this is repaired… let’s see how long it takes before I forget. 🤷‍♂️

If you like working out shoulder-to-shoulder with 700 other people at the same time then Vasa Van Winkle is for you. This place is a legitimate sea of people 85% of the time, 7 days a week. If you prefer to workout in a place with some semblance of calm I suggest coming here the moment it opens or an hour before closing. Otherwise, you’ll think you just walked onto general admission floor during a concert at the Vivant Arena.

Doesn't matter what time you go to this gym, its packed. Inside, however; you'll find that every person is trying to use the free weights at once, while the WILDLY too large machine area & CrossFit area are barely used by more than a handful of people at a time. Overrun with unsupervised 16-18 year old's who will come in a group of 4-5 and then use 4-5 barbells at the same time instead of working out in a group. extrapolate this to 5-10 groups of these kids, and there's no more bars to actually get a workout in. 2.5lb & 5lb plates are just nonexistent, and be prepared to not find a 10 or 25lb plate either, as weights are never re-racked and put away correctly. Not to mention that don't even try to find dumbbells, no matter the time you go in there, the only ones available are either 85lbs+ or 10lbs, there seems to be some missing 35-55lbs?? The place is also just straight up filthy, I've been to gyms in warehouses where you HAD to wipe down your machine/equipment when you were finished. Not so at VASA. the Sauna is nice, the steam room however, STINKS like mold, or bacteria is growing inside the steam generator, when that thing kicks on it smells like old man A$$. Pool seems okay, hot-tub seems filthy to me and its always weirdly foamy. In short, this gym charges you a pretty good chunk of change and in exchange doesn't clean, doesn't enforce any kind of civility or rules, doesn't put things away, and doesn't provide adequate equipment for what their clientele clearly wants to be doing(there are nowhere near enough free weights).

When I walked in to sign up I was greeted by the nicest person and didn't feel pressure to sign up for the most expensive pass. I didn't feel judged or intimated at all like I have at past gyms. I was given a tour of the gym and everything was throughly explained to me as well. I went In for a personal trainer session the next Saturday after my sign up which was free I might add and Maddy was awesome. I told her my goals which were mainly getting stronger and she didn't push loosing weight as a goal. We even did a full body scan and made a full body workout for me and my goals. She was super informative and didn't push buying the personal trainer package after My session. Never felt more comfortable in a gym before now

I love this vasa and the layout! Staff is always super friendly. One thing I’d recommend, is making the Women’s Gym bigger. The cinema and Club Red is barley used, could be considered turning one of the two to a Women’s Gym? Just a recommendation! Overall great gym.

Staff is super friendly. Clean spot to work out. I go at 530 am and can usually use the equipment I like to work out. I have been in the evenings though and it is crazy crowded. Hard to find parking or get on all the equipment. I try to avoid this place at all costs from 430pm to 700pm!
