Van Winkle use to be the location to go, but now all the machines are broken and stay broken forever, cables hanging from areas and the grass area is trashed from no up keep of the sled area. The mass amount of unsupervised teens from 2 - 8 has become ridiculous. Use to love this place but looks like everyone is moving up to EŌS on 900 E maybe one day van winkle will step it up, actually glad the sent this message to ask for review so I can cancel and go to EOS also.

Good gym. Used it when I was stationed in SLC. Good clean facility

This gym is pretty decent. The pool is absolutely DISGUSTING. I literally could write my own name in the grime on the side of the pool. For a gym that advertises 24 hours (but actually isn’t really 24 hours) you think they could clean the pool at least during the closed hours. I dont think I’ve ever seen an employee clean anything here. Equipment breaks often and going during the peak hours is an absolute nightmare because it’s so crowded everywhere. I personally wish they had a track to run on instead of just equipment. Was able to get a membership when it was $0 down, and I only pay $10 a month.

I have been going here consistently for over a year now. Large clean gym with a lot of good equipment. Problems are it used to be a 24 hour gym until COVID came and they started closing early for high touch cleaning which was nice but it seems as if the cleaning has come and gone but the shortened hours have stayed. They also turn off every light in the building making it pitch black and then turn them back on a few times every 5 minutes after 11:30 to let you know that closing time is coming and finish up your workout. Which would be fine if it wasn’t EVERY 5 MINUTES. It’s incredibly annoying/distracting and also dangerous when working out close to others. They also keep the lights shut off 5-10 minutes before closing every night, so you can’t count on having that time to workout either. Overall a good gym but a few gripes that really start to wear on you if you go consistently.

Great place, very kind staff. I really like going to this location. All the amenities are flawless. It would be perfect if the gym could run 24/7 because I know a lot of people who work late night shifts and they would love to be able to go at any hour but it’s still a great location.

i love the environment from Vasa Van Winkle but i think that they needs to add some new machines as GHR / Belt Squat Machine and Reserve Hyperextension because Vasa 7800s Redwood and all the EOS are having them . Looking forward to see the improvements in the near future ( hopefully it wont be too long )Here is my Passcode 4783009. Friendly Staff, great variety of equipment, classes are organized.This gym would be a 5 star experience if there were not so many machines that were broken.However I admit that they are getting them fixed a lot faster!Great Job vasa

It's a gym. The pool is often quite filthy (see my video). Sometimes things break and sometimes the shower drains stink. They're usually pretty good at fixing stuff if you let them know about it and remind them every time you go. Employees all seem nice. The locker room has been much more enjoyable since the TV broke. It's a fine gym.

Been here several times as a guest, so I already knew it was great, but I came in to sign up for a new membership, and the staff was so helpful. Awesome machines, and enough variety that it's fun to be here and try everything out. The Lady Vasa private is also very appreciated.Update:The fees are ridiculous, and a great way to turn away members for life. Thanks to the greedy and unnecessary renewal and cancellation fees, I'll never feel financially comfortable coming back to this place.

Stinky, crowded, cheap. This gym is overrun with groups of high schoolers and teens that crowd and take over equipment. Good luck trying to get the workout you need in. The locker rooms and pool areas smell rotten, and the steam room and sauna are packed like sardines. It is such a crowded, disgusting gym, with poor ventilation, and the weight room smells and feels like a muggy, sweaty, swamp. I thought it would be better than Brickyard, but it is not. Very disappointed, and have never hated going to the gym so much. Joined and cancelled within a few weeks. Beware before joining these cheap budget gyms. You get what you pay for.
