The gym is very clean with a lot of various equipment, benches, treadmills, etc. I've been coming here for a while now and find that it's busiest between 5-8pm. Outside of those times, I've never had trouble finding open equipment or doing the workouts I planned on doing.

These opinions are mine and by anecdote and are based on observations made over 14 months.Loud and irritating club muzak. Bring your own tunes or noise canceling ear phones if that bothers you. The club is most crowded on weekends, holidays, after working hours, and most of all when school is out. It has never been too crowded to train in my opinion. Late morning to 4:00 PM on weekdays is a sweet spot. The functional training area is small and easily crowded. There is plenty of equipment in all varieties in the gym. There is an outdoor training area with astroturf. Specific areas can be crowded when busy. There is lap pool. The gym is kept in good repair and cleanliness.Stay from personal training especially if you are a senior. The training staff does not have the degree of knowledge needed. Personal training appears to be primarily a revenue generator. The staff is nearly impeccable in professional demeanor, however many to most do not have detailed knowledge of the equipment. In otherwords, you will have to figure it out on your own. Overall the club has a friendly vibe.Pricing varies widely and is determined by whether there is a sale or promotion going on. Seniors pay zero if they belong to (Active Renew) or similar Medicare plans.

Best gym in Santa Fe, clean, great equipment, awesome amenities, several group classes, personal training, Inbody Assessments, a beautiful pool, fancy saunas, and the staff is welcoming and personable. I look forward to going there everyday and always leave feeling satisfied and content! It's like a home away from home, if not better! 🔥💯💪🏽

This gym is the best gym I have ever joined. The people, atmosphere, and amenities made me come in every single day. It hurts me to leave/put my membership on freeze.Christa is an excellent trainer - 10/10 recommended. Also, the staff work very hard to keep the place clean and germ free.

Am one who travels nation wide on a weekly basis.Stumbling upon this gym by a quick google search it looked promising.Walking into the building I was greeted with a warm welcoming by Litsy, she was very kind and quick getting me signed in.Being my first time she she asked to give me a tour! She really knows her machines and placement of everything in the place.Am glad I came , it felt like 24 hr fitness mixed with a modern feel.Really worth to visit the gem.I’d like to shout out Nathan for helping keep this place fresh and clean!Very thankful for the experience 🙏

As a previous trainer and employee at a larger, more well know club-style gym, Defined Fitness will get the job done in my opinion. Not the biggest or best equipped gym out there by any means but nonetheless “that’ll do, pig, that’ll do.” Good equipment in good shape. Only complaint is the location is rather “cliquey” - groups of people working out together and seemingly working jaws more than bodies sometimes but once you can get into a routine and find a flow, you’ll be alright. For a more comfortable and fluid experience, I recommend training mornings or midday - nights are extremely crowded.

This gym is a scammer with their billing and canceling of your membership. Even after signing a cancelation form they still tried for months to charge my account. I had to have my bank block them. They have really shady clauses in their contracts about freezing your account and ending your membership. And when you want to freeze your account, you have to ask a week before the next month starts, and sometimes they still charge you, plus they charge you a 10$ fee to freeze your account. None of this they tell you when you sign up, but later they say “oh this was all explained to you when you signed up” no it wasn’t. Then make a huge messy deal about refunding or fixing their “mistakes”. It’s always intentional with them. Greedy weird owners. Also there is the owners daughter who “greets” everyone by yelling “hi welcome!” In the most unfriendly militant way when you enter, like why bother even greeting people if you makeIt feel like it’s the army, gross.

Great, new looking facility, all of the equipment is in excellent condition and they have everything I need, the pool is a huge bonus. Only complaint, pool only has 4 lanes, and the club can get VERY busy, other than that though, I am very happy with my membership with the Capital club!!!

This gym has it all! From resistance machines, free weights, hydro massage beds and a heated pool! There are sanitizing stations throughout the gym and Covid-19 guidelines in place. Membership fees are very affordable. Personal trainer fees are a little expensive.

This is a review for Ellie who teaches classes at this gym and is a total QUEEN! Hands down the best Zumba teacher in the region, she always brings tons of positive energy to every class and makes the workout fun. This woman deserves a raise! Also shout-out to all of the members who have been taking class during this pandemic year and have been committed to proper mask-wearing even though we are all sucking air. I appreciate you!
