Had a great time at this gym. I picked Momentum to visit on vacation amongst the sea of Seattle climbing gyms because they had a Groupon. My partner and I visited on a weekday morning and it was super quiet, only maybe 10-15 people in the whole gym plus some summer camp kids. The gym isn't huge, but had a good variety of wall types and styles of climbs. I thought the grading was a bit inconsistent but the setting was fun so I didn't really care. I particularly enjoyed the top out boulders, which I haven't had much experience with. Everything was super clean and the grimy foot smell typical to climbing gyms was minimal. The weightlifting and cardio areas were also spacious and well equipped for both climbing-specific and more general strength workouts. They had a huge selection of bands and even had two 15kg barbells, a rare find.

Clean facility. Lots of boulder problems with a top out area. Cool little art gallery on the side as well.

My son is taking the rock, climbing camp. Very much enjoying himself. I appreciate the consideration of his quirks. Would love to have a bit of an explanation of what they are doing at the camp. I can’t get much out of my kid.

Awesome place, great routes and fun set up. We visited from out of town. Tig (not sure about spelling) was super friendly and helpful with info about local crags and helped us figure out the tread wall.

Nice gym. It’s clean and comfortable and the training equipment is enough. Also, there are showers for bath after you bouldering. The terrains are also interesting for many nice funny routes setting. But It would be better if the gym can set more dynamic routes that need dyno or running to jump together with some coordination moves then is perfect 👍🏽

Upsides: Gym has good facilities for bouldering at each skill level, classes are great, yoga, coffee in the mornings, programs for kids, staff is nice, courses switch out on a regular schedule.Downsides: price is higher than say… 24 hour fitness or Planet Fitness (but they often don’t have climbing facilities)— lifting/cardio area could use a leg machine of some kind, and If you’re looking for a gym that’s a comfortable temperature to lift or climb in, this ain’t it. It’s always too warm. Other than that though, it’s a great gym!
