A great gym with great policies. Don't feel intimidated to come and workout. Everyone keeps to themselves and are trying to get in shape just like you.Bonus points: They do enforce masks while mandated by the state.Update: Still a great gym. They keep it clean and the equipment maintained. Staff at reception is a bit icy, which I don't mind but don't expect friendliness from a lot of the staff.

This is for the company and not the employees, they’re great. But this company needs to update its buildings. The outside literally says Open 24 5, implying that 5 days a week they are open for 24hours a day. This is not the case. Even the management team has confirmed that they are only open 3 days a week for 24hours. Which is fine, but you cannot advertise 5 days a week when in reality it is 3. You are promising one thing to get new members and then practicing another thing. It’s infuriating and this inconsistency in opening times in addition to the club refusing to hire more staff (do not even take the time to lie and say there’s a staffing shortage we both know people are applying like mad to get any jobs they can) so that the club can be maintained properly.Maybe try offering a livable compensation and actually hiring staff and your gym would be a more enjoyable experience.Once again, the staff you do have is wonderful and work their butts off with the ONE person there to manage every single thing.

It feels motivating that I see bodies of all shapes, sizes, and ages at Planet Fitness who are all exercising for their own goals. I used to feel intimidated when I first joined because of my nervousness about coming off as a total newbie, but I later realized that everyone here started as a newbie and also want to get better.Customer service staff have been nice and helpful. I dropped my earbud case once underneath one of the treadmills (yikes!), and the staff thankfully helped me retrieve it! The staff don't always greet people who come in, but I think that's because of Seattle's culture (with the whole "Seattle Freeze") and because the check-in process is so easy that it doesn't require interaction with staff. All that, access to gym equipment, and everyone just minding their own business (and not using phones to record) for only $11.01 (after sales tax) per month is a really good, affordable deal. I'd honestly recommend anyone who lives in South Seattle to try coming here to improve their health, especially if they're living on a tight budget. This location has access to public transportation for folks who do not have a car or cannot drive, too, which has helped me save money. The only warning I'd have to new gym goers to this place is to not use the lockers inside the locker room. My partner's close friend had his stuff locked in one of the lockers in the guys' locker room, his locker was broken into, and all his stuff was stolen. Planet Fitness staff couldn't help much there due to the disclaimer they have about valuables, so I'd recommend folks to keep a fanny pack of their valuables with them (or pockets!), pack light to the gym, and use one of the outside lockers next to the water fountation to reduce risk of break-in and theft.

1st day today was awesome. Im doing self directed rehab after a near death experience that left me with a wrecked up musclularskeletal system. More machines than one could ever need. Lots of free weights with space to move around. Watched football while on the treadmill. Pf spa area provides a nice zone to decompress and reflect. It was a good day for me. Courteous and helpful staff. Fabian is always friendly and happy to help out when i have questions or concerns.

Always filthy and the last time I was there, out of four showers only one was working, and two of the four have not been working for months. One of the sinks have not been working for months. You need to do better!!

**UPDATE 12/9**The cleanliness of the men's locker room is appalling. It looks like the y do very little maintenance. This changing room has been filthy for several days now. On the bright side, it looks like three out of four showers are now operational. It only took a year.2 out 4 showers are out of order, and it's been over a month. I go there on my lunch break, so having to wait for a shower is detrimental. Not to mention the bathroom stall that's been "temporarily out of service" for two years. Please service your establishment.*UPDATE*The bathroom stall is now open. Two showers are still closed.

Been a member for over a year now, was moving a lot due to the nature of my work, but have been going to this location consistently and have really enjoyed 1. The morning crowd, various walks of life - very inspiring to me when I’m getting my workout in. 2 the staff are helpful and nice! I had to pause my account while I travel and they were prompt and helpful in that process.

For a big facility, it’s a good price. However, the customer service needs serious work. Newer member but have never been said hello or goodbye to. My very first day they did not look at me while I was standing at the desk, just continued talking and pointed at the scanner. I had some questions, but it was clear they were not interested. Staff tend to be talking, playing chess, on their phone, etc behind desk with backs to customers. I waited at the counter while one staff member helped the man in front of me and 3 others were playing a game together on their phone. Not one person said a thing until I approached them and asked them if they have classes as my membership says it does. The club does not. They said “maybe.. maybe next month, we don’t know”. Came for my first morning work out at 6am on a Monday, been here 40 minutes and it’s still not open (supposed to open at 5am). It’s unfortunate because I do not live close, so this is a crumby way to start the day. They still state it’s 24 hours gym, be forewarned that’s only true Tues, Wed & Thurs. Once again, equipment & size wise, it’s pretty good.

Staff has always been courteous. The bathrooms need constant cleaning from dirty patrons. Staff has issues cleaning up free weights area from messy gym goers as well. Half the hydro beds are broken.

I usually come here often and as I’m trying to get two drinks while charging my card that’s on file. The lady said there’s no card on file but I have been doing that for the past couple of days/ also the drinks are 50% with black card but she said they don’t do that. I been doing that for the past couple of days. As the computer asked is 8.40$ the correct price she tries to confirm it herself which is horrible as I was trying to tell her about drinks being 50% off. As she’s trying to confirm the price herself I told her nvm because she shouldn’t do that herself as if she’s paying. She was very rude the whole time as well. The time was 11:00ish Monday night 09-27-22. I just wish there would be accountability when it comes to these situations.
