A lot of the treadmills are unplugged and are set to kilometers rather than miles. Sauna is pretty small. The hours they open could be longer on the weekends. Besides that, it’s a good, basic gym.

For the price not bad. Weights and equipment are on the newer end and are usually in working condition. However, I primarily joined this gym for use of the pool. It's overall quality and general availability are the reason for the 2 star review.Let's start with the quality aspect.1st...if you are a former swimmer and/or person looking to use this pool as the foundation of your workout routine, be advised there are no backstroke flags. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying and would expect a place that took the time to build a 25 yd pool to have these.2nd...the overall cleanliness leaves a bit to be desired. The pool deck feels slimy in spots and not sure if they vacuum the pool regularly considering fairly large dirt/debris is present most days. Its an indoor pool, so a bit of this is to be expected. That all being said.....if these were the only issues, would have been a 4 star review. However, the move down to a 2 star review is due to the pool availability. In the evening time it's about a 25% chance you get a lane right off the bat. If it's not open when I first get there, no big deal, I go for a 45min-1hr workout in the gym and then come back in and try to snag a lane. Upon coming back in, it's usually 50/50 if a lane is available. This would sit fine with me...except....generally speaking.....these lanes are filled with people taking social hour or kids treating the lanes as a community pool or water park. Which makes things a little more frustrating. I get it, these people pay their membership just as I do.... HOWEVER....this would be the equivalent of coming into the gym, going to a squat rack, and instead of exercising (as the equipment intends)....taking a phone call or using the squat rack as a jungle gym. This misuse (in my opinion) of the pool are the reason for the low review and will likely be the reason I end up cancelling come summertime.Maybe I'm not the sort of member this gym is looking to keep (which is totally cool)...however...if I am....advice would be to enforce a slightly stricter policy for appropriate use of the pool, and an addition of backstroke flags if able.

I joined the gym last year. And due to some old injury flare ups and new injuries I was unable to make it in as much as I wanted to. The times I did use the gym, staff was pleasant and other guests were friendly. I cancelled my membership today only because we just bought gym equipment for our garage and we have been using it. I would strongly recommend this gym to my friends!Thank you to all the staff that helped me out to start my weight loss and healthy lifestyle journey!!

If there would be any chance to give them 0 stars, I would. Canceled my membership in Dec 2021, they kept charging me every month after that. Went to them 4 times to cancel, no one at the front desk cares. Even the manager. Even after calling customer service trying to dispute these ridiculous charges, representative hung up on me for no reason. If you’re looking for a gym in Reno/Sparks, this is the last option you should consider. Absolutely ridiculous.

Cheap, great communication with staff and guests. Everyone seems friendly, everyone says excuse me and communicates well with each other. Fitness connection also has a pool and sauna which is an added bonus. I feel comfortable even when there's a lot of people.

Clean gym, and friendly staff. Unfortunately since they closed the south town location this gym has become overwhelmingly busy at all hours. So much so that being able to complete a workout in a timely manner has become next to impossible. I canceled my membership, which was no trouble and have since set up a gym in my garage. No line, no wait.

Overall a pretty good place. The only complaint I have is that the indoor pool is always feeling too cold. I don't think they maintain the temperature well. It should be about 86° to be comfortable and it's more like 78 °

Before Reno location closed, staff told me the rate would be adjusted automatically. Of course, it didn't. I called customer service, asked to refund me the difference for a few months. They refused it and only willing to lower my rate going forward. So, i cancelled my membership. Great way to screw with your customers.

Cleanliness is not great. I understand there are a lot of people and it's hard to keep up with, but it's dirty. Not considered a clean gym, especially the pool. Pool area and locker room leading up to the pool area is just nasty. Also, they need to turn up the AC. It's 95 degrees out and it's about 85, 88 INSIDE, real feel. Maybe if it was empty, the number on the thermostat would match the actual temperature in there. But it's ALWAYS packed. Always having to wait for a machine. And they got everything jam packed in there. Trying to avoid elbowing people or getting elbowed constantly just to move around. And the lack of classes is very frustrating. This is the only location in the entire area. But they have just 1 or 2 classes a day.I hate going there because I know I won't get a good workout. I just want a place that's clean, has classes and isn't literally jam packed with people every minute they're open.
