I like the gym but for some reason the st.joe location isn’t 24 hours.... it says 24 on the website and in Kansas City they are 24 hours. I don’t understand why this location closes at 9pm on Friday’s and earlier Saturday and Sunday.

The staff is always friendly and the gym is always clean. I enjoy my time here. Can do your own thing or do the circuit for a full work out.

Personally I love Planet Fitness! It gets a bad wrap for being a bit casual and serving pizza and bagels at different times But the staff is always kind, the establishment is clean, and all the equipment is functional and varied!

This review is purely concerning how Planet Fitness St Joseph chose to reopen following the virus:To preface, I understand that it states in each contract that you must cancel within 7 days of a billing date.However... I have not used their facilities since the outbreak, due to my family containing multiple high-risk individuals.I was charged a “non-negotiable” $21 for a membership I haven’t used and am still not able to use until the pandemic is deemed safe by health professionals.I also understand that the city council of St Joseph (save a few individuals who listen to their health care professionals) does not take the virus seriously, having just issued very lax “mask rules” for the city.I would have really appreciated support from Planet Fitness, given that I’ve been going there for 6 years.Sad to see corporate greed at large during a sensitive time for our nation.Needless to say, I had to cancel my 6-7 year old membership. I was told I would not be refunded for the charge I received this morning.Truly Disappointing.
