I like the atmosphere there everybody is really nice and helpfulI also like the extended hours because with my crazy work schedule it’s nice to know I can go to the gym virtually any time

Discriminative. Anyone who goes in to get a hard workout in is considered a "lunk" and is asked to stop or leave. If your a muscular person they will judge you automatically and label you as a self centered lunk. I just wanted an affordable place to workout. In their quest to be "judgment free" they've become the most judgmental. Stay away if you want a good gym to work hard in.

Everyone is friendly, I felt completely comfortable with the environment. Place is VERY CLEAN & theres lots to do. Would definitely reccomend & I will continue to be a memeber at Planet Fitness!!!

Seen the younger meat head staff guys giggling and pointing at an over weight girl exercising, very very disgusting and disappointing of them. Staff seems really judgmental and makes you feel like you shouldn't be there... has way more then enough super buff guys hogging machines and flexing in the mirrors. Not the biggest problems just kind of ironic it's everything this company advertise to be against...It's not planet fitness, it's a gym...

Hydro massage is my favorite! Tanning beds are great! Nice large assortment of equipment. Overall, very nice gym! Would recommend!

The staff maybe polite but the business model of this place is designed to keep people out of shape and fat. If you want a more in-depth review just type "planet fitness" into youtube and take your pick of the scathing reviews (as there are plenty).

The St. Joseph, MO location Pros & Cons....PROS:Has excellent all over cleanliness & equipment upkeep. I love the large variety of equip PF has to offer and that there are multiples of equip so we dont have to wait to use something. I love how they decorate front desk/door area for diff holidays. I workout anywhere from 4:30am to 8:30am and all the employees working then are the BEST! So friendly! I love that PF is staffed during all open hours! EXCELLENT prices for all PF has to offer, price def can't be beat. I'm a black card member and love that I can tan sometimes and dont have to pay the prices tanning salons charge. There I feel like I'm wasting my $ because I do like to tan but not too frequently. I love using the massage chair after every workout. I don't normally use the Hydromassage bed cause Im already hot but those are nice too.CONS:*They could really use ceiling fans in the "stretching" and free weight areas.*I wish they were 24/7.*The younger girl that works the afternoons isn't very friendly/ doesnt acknowledge customers & always seems to be more worried about her friends she's gossiping with (from before I walk in til after I leave) than the customers. (on multiple occassions when I've come in to tan).

Awful customer service, horrible website, no communication!! It’s all great until you have an issue and then the home club tells you to talk to corporate and corporate tells you to talk to your home club. If I could give this place negative stars I would 🤬🤬🤬Update: after receiving the response from the owner on here I followed up with the email he/she provided. That person was not only not able to help me but he/she also didn’t know how to pass my email along to the local club!!!! Prime example of how poor the customer service and communication are with this club! Just pray you never have an issue that needs to be addressed, they will give you a big runaround!
