Great place,only thing is no towels to dry yourself and showers are too exposed

WARNING! Don’t sign up the memberships are a scam and the staff is a joke: I walked into in shape Lodi on Dec 7th 2022 and I signed up for a membership for myself and a partner. On Jan 19th I went to another club in Stockton and asked to upgrade my membership for access to the local clubs(Lodi plus Stockton) I was charged a prorated amount of $27.62 that same day. A couple weeks later I notice that I was upgraded to the highest level membership (not the local clubs) this is a very malicious act in part of the club in order to manipulate membership sale numbers.So then I call the club and explain my situation to a woman for over 15 minutes and she said she was new so she would tell my manager to call me back. No manager called. On Feb 13th I speak to the manager at Lodi location and show her all my email documentation and how confusing and misleading it was, and she said she would correct the issue and they changed my membership to the correct one for(Lodi and Stockton only) She also said she would call me about the refund of the incorrect charge of $27.62 for the mistake that was made when I upgraded. She asked if I could wait until the next day to make my payment so she could change my new dues amount because the in shape app still showed the incorrect membership amount. I never got an update or a call and it’s been over 6 weeks. I call the club and explain for the third time my entire situation and that I had still not heard back from anyone despite constantly checking in at the club. They had informed me my membership was inactive and suspended and soon to be canceled. They suggested that I start up on a new membership to have access to the clubs. I sign up online and pay approximately $75 to start a new membership with my add on. I recently received an email of cancellation and I see on the in shape app that after only two weeks with the new membership that somehow it’s been canceled it. So now this makes two memberships that have been modified with suspicious activity. 1st membership by a incorrect upgrade with incorrect email receipt information & 2nd membership I did not authorize to cancel and had no explanation as to why. I am now seeing that a yearly fee was collected from the old membership that the staff member had told me was essentially canceled. I also don’t understand why my new membership was canceled without reason and no refund amount given. Despite remaining patient, fair and considerate, I’m starting to suspect that after leaving a negative review on Google and Yelp of the lack of obvious professionalism and trickery on the membership front, I am having a strong feeling that this is either a form of retaliation and/or personal discrimination against me from my home club because I have constantly been given inaccurate information by staff, over the phone and via email.I have spoken already with a plethora of managers from so many clubs, and none of them have the time to look into my issue correctly. I hope this message can help influence a change because I believe it is in the best interest for In-Shape to keep their staff trained well to avoid lawsuits.

Place is huge and ceiling is high but filled with old equipments and very crowded.

Staff and gym goers are nice and pleasant teachers silver aqua aerobics and Connie silver sneakers are encouraging and don't make you feel bad if there is something you can't do

Try to go 3-5 × a week to walk in the pool for a minimum of 60 minutes then the spa for 20 minutes.Mens locker room is kind of dirty especially in the shower one of the drains had a glob of black hair in it. The next two days the hair had been picked up and was on the wall. A few of the shower controls are not working. (Handicap)
