I've been a member for about 21 years or longer. I pay for a Platinum membership for my wife and I. $3 of my fee was added on - years ago - for the towel service that has long-since been eliminated (thanks to Covid I'm told), yet the $3 additional fee has remained.Additionally, my monthly fee was raised even more recently by $5 "due to added services". I have no idea what these services are because they have not been offered to me, nor are they anything I would use.The customer service provided by anyone at the corporate office is non-existent. The customer service at the club (which I can't even use the Floyd / McHenry location for some unknown reason) is just ok, and sometimes it isn't very good. The men's bathroom is almost always out of paper towels and trash is usually overflowing from the waste receptacles. Often times equipment such as treadmills are broken down and non-functioning.One day recently, I tried to bring my 13 year-old son into the club just to show him around and let him accompany me during a light workout as well as consider including him into our membership (he was NOT going to use anything equipment himself and I expressed this - but NOPE. I was denied access and wasn't even allowed a visitor's daypass, let alone 10 minute accompanied pass to show him around on that one occasion.HELL NO WOULD I CONSIDER RECOMMENDING ANY INSHAPE MEMBERSHIP OR SERVICE TO ANYONE I KNOW. I PLAN TO CANCEL MINE AS A MATTER OF FACT AND TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. THESE TYPES OF CLUBS ARE A DIME A DOZEN THESE DAYS AND OFFER BETTER FEES AND MORE SERVICES. INSHAPE CITY HAS ONLY DEGRADED. THE CORPORATE MANAGEMENT AND OWNERSHIP IS TO BLAME

Staff is always super nice and welcoming. I love coming here only thing is there is so many cockroaches on the floor they should fumigate this location.
