The staff could definitely be friendlier upon entrance and in general. There is limited space to do solo workouts without equipment. The ropes are blocked off in the private training section however, it should be open to everybody. I pay the highest tier of membership and I should be able to use any equipment I want at any time. I will say this gym is kept clean and the yoga room is very nice

The staff is so great and kind! Especially Joe the manager and MJ! Having fun training with MJ. Place gets really crowded after 6pm. Zumba classes have been super fun so far :)

An update to my review. 4 years ago, shortly after the gym opened, I gave it 5 stars. I have updated to 2 stars and I am generous.Why?- It seems there is no maintenance any more and hasn't been for months. Even the two clocks are not showing the same time so dusty machines and broken equipment is not good.- Some critical machines have been broken for months. The answer is always "waiting for parts".- The gym is getting over crowded, at times the wait for a machine is very long.- The price (esp for someone that signed up early) is still unbelievable but... the gap to other places is not as big as it was and given the above I feel I get what I pay for...I switched out today...

The good:- Price is unbeatable- Gym reasonably clean- Varied selection of equipment.The bad:- Their bench/free weight section is too small for how many people want to use it. Basically no matter what time of day you go you'll end up having to wait a bit for a bench which gets frustrating. In the end this was a deal breaker for me.

Equipment looks new , HIIT classes are great.( A bit crowded) I love the hydro massage chairs. It's a smaller gym compared to San Mateo but has everything you need to get a good workout. Friendly front desk . Sometimes music playlist is terrible ..not sure if one of the employees decided one night to play their own heavy metal or the speakers but I just don my Bose NC headphones and everything was alright.
