I just recently signed back up with Mountainside Fitness. Tina was helpful in signing me up and making sure I had the time to make sure my child was comfortable in the kid care. My biggest shout out goes to Taryn in the kid care area. She was the absolute best in helping my child to feel comfortable. She helped my child release her fear of coming in there. That's what my child said! It really was very special and you never know how much your patience and kindness can help shape and support our future kiddos. So much gratitude! ❤️ now I get mommy time with no worries! Thank you Taryn!

Welcoming staff. GREAT INSTRUCTORS. Shout out to Evenstar and London! Front desk staff gave wrong information about rock wall use—turns out kids can only go with child care, only at certain times and only for a fee.Child care is attentive and I appreciate Michaela checking in with my son about using the restroom since she knows he is potty training. So grateful for her thoughtfulness. Gabby is great at getting to know kids’ names and attentive to their needs. Glad to know my kids are having fun and cared for while I’m working out!

The childcare at Mountainside is phenomenal. All of the girls are great with our 9 month old son, he’s always so excited to see them all! They really make us feel like family and give us the peace of mind that our son is getting the best care while we get our workouts in.The facility itself is set up very well, we never have issues getting use of the equipment we need, and always lots of cardio options. Our family will continue coming to Mountainside for years to come.

I love the gym...its a little irritating though when I'm at my own station and when I stop to breathe and drink some water I'm told that i need to wear my mask. Then I watch the staff train someone in a crowded area where a woman 2 feet away worked out and during the break had her mask down the entire time and the staff said nothing. I'm also a grown man, if my mask is down other adults should know it's probably for a good reason...like oxygen and water. After that my mask was right back on.

Troy S. Is an amazing, fantastic trainer! I have done decades of weight-training but when I broke my shoulder it was difficult to work out without reinjuring myself. So I began working with Troy! What a difference he’s made in my life. I’ve been working with him for almost two years despite the pandemic and he is always enthusiastic, highly motivating, and makes working out fun! I love the fact that no matter what physical issues I throw at him he can always find a way to work around them (I have fibromyalgia which sometimes results in various aches and pains). I also enjoy talking to him during workouts about sports, especially the NFL. I have to say that Troy is one of the best trainers at Mountainside. His enthusiasm makes me work harder and the results I have achieved are amazing. He is probably Mountainside’s most valuable asset and thus the MVP! I love my workouts and might not have stayed at Mountainside if it hadn’t been for Troy. Remember MVP! - A. Kilstofte, Ph.D.

I've been working out here for over a year and half with my physical trainer Troy. He's amazing, knows my strengths and weaknesses. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to get in shape even for us ",old"guys.

I signed up to join this gym in February 2020 which included three month complimentary services with a referral from a friend who had already been a member for years. Then COVID hit and the gyms were shut down and given my health risk factors I haven't visited this gym since the lockdowns began. My friend also stopped going as well, but apparently somehow my credit card got associated with her account (since she referred me?).I just discovered on my CC statement that Mountainside has billed me in excess of $2000! for services I didn't sign up for nor did I ever use.Charges started to appear the same month that I had signed up even, so much for the three month complimentary visits.OK, I can understand billing configuration issues, so I called and spoke with Nathan who in turn spoke with his manager to correct these billing issues. He came back and said his manager was unwilling to credit me these charges.I understand this business must be hurting for money, but screwing members shouldn't be part of the plan. I have since file a dispute with my credit card company and canceled my card so they can not continue their charging abuses.I had been looking forward to going back to this gym once things got back to normal, but given this experience, their absolute unwillingness to correct this billing issue, this won't be happening. My friend who also referred me will no longer be going their either and she has been a member for five plus years.BEWARE OF THEIR BILLING PRACTICES

Mountainside Fitness is clean and has the best trainers/instructors!Troy Sienkiewicz is the BEST personal trainer! I was so excited recently to put on shorts when those same ones a year ago would not go past my thighs-those are real results! He pushes me physically but recognizes my limits. He holds me accountable to a fitness plan which is frequently updated as progress is made. Thanks to him, over the past year, I have gained strength, lost weight, and decreased my cholesterol. Troy’s methods produce measurable results! His expertise and encouragement is worth every dollar. Also, Yogi Gail Butchart is an amazing instructor! Love her yoga classes, especially the yin yoga and restorative yoga. Her classes have a beautiful energy in them. I leave the class feeling more peaceful, relaxed yet more energetic. She helps you modify the poses, if needed, to fit your abilities. You can tell that Gail fully enjoys teaching yoga.
