My experience at Primetime boxing academy was pretty good for 1 month learning the basics. Coach joe pushed me to my limits. We went to Utica to spar , Sparred at his gym it was a good fighting experience. Learning how to shift my body weight and things like that. Coach joe is a good trainer. Met some great people at this gym it was an overall good experience.

I started boxing last winter in Miami and continued my training with Coach Joe, upon my return in the spring. At 69 years old, I’m older than most of his students, but treated no differently, which is hugely refreshing! Joe is an excellent teacher and communicator and expanded my limited boxing knowledge. He facilitated a controlled sparring experience for me that was extremely exhilarating and downright fun!! I would enthusiastically recommend Syracuse Boxing to anyone that wants to push their limits regardless of their experience or age!

I met Coach Joe a few months ago and from the moment I walked in the door I knew this was a place for me. I have been a competitive athlete my entire life in numerous sports. I have been involved in combat sports for over 25 years and trained at several gyms in multiple states. I can say with absolute confidence that no matter what your goal is, Coach Joe can help you achieve it. I have personally witnessed him running group classes with complete beginners and more advanced fighters present. He can seem to integrate everyone into the appropriate level of training in one setting without flaw. He seems to know what each person needs, and he can provide it. He is kind, patent and welcoming. He is attentive.Walking into a fighting gym can be intimidating. The right environment can make a difference in how you train and if you train. There is no intimidation. His athletes / fighters are all kind, courteous and more than willing to help out. That is a reflection of his philosophy. There are no strangers there. The guy is straight forward and an honest businessman as well. If you are considering training to fight, defend yourself, or simply get in shape, just try a class!

Coach Joe is very personable and has an abundance of knowledge when it comes to boxing. His gym is awesome, and it has everything you need to become a better boxer. He works well with children and adults, competitive fighters as well as people just trying to get in shape. The classes are awesome and all encompassing. I really enjoy the partner drills that we do. When I first walked thru the doors one of the first things he asked me was, "What are your goals?" To which I replied,"I just want to be better." In a little over a months time, I can see improvements in my boxing technique, my physique and my conditioning. There has never been one time that I walked out of his gym feeling as if I didn't get my money's worth. And I have reaped several benefits outside of the gym as well. I feel more disciplined, more focused, more confident, less anxious/depressed, and I sleep a lot better at night. I am so glad I took the leap and joined up at Prime Time Boxing Academy!!!
