(Update) canceled my membership in November. I was charged for November and December. Good thing I checked my bank account. I'll update this review if the fix it in a timely matter however right now I'm pretty upset.

Great Gym can’t explain how much I prefer it here then any other bigger gym. Especially since it is 24/7. Staff and people are great highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back again.

Canceled membership two months ago. They told me I needed to get them paperwork for the cancellation. I did last month. Since my cancellation I've been charged for 2 months. Also the gym and Thornton is very small and very overcrowded if it wasn't for us moving out of state we would have canceled the membership anyway. Now nobody will return our email our call or our message on their Facebook page. Even though they seen the message on their Facebook page still no reply. Apparently canceling your membership with powerhouse is nearly impossible. if our account is not reimbursed for the membership for this month by the end of the week we will have our bank take appropriate action which may include wirefraud.

This gym is squeaky clean! Everyone is there for a common goal. The staff is extremely helpful if you have questions. All the equipment is well maintained. I love working out here when I’m in town.

Powerhouse Gym in Thornton has a super friendly staff that works with their clients to achieve their personal goals and hold them accountable to reaching them. I appreciate how they always consider the individual and how affordable they are. The staff members have supported me on my path to self improvement and have accommodated me no matter the circumstance. Jeff Besteman offers personal training sessions that are flexible and catered to each individual’s personal aspirations. If you’re thinking of joining a gym, you won’t regret purchasing an affordable membership at Powerhouse Gym in Thornton and becoming a part of the team!

I grew up in the hole in the wall steroid head type of gym. I didn’t want to find a hole in the wall, but I wanted the feeling of knowing I can lift heavy, be loud, and not worry about a “dress code” requiring me to wear sleeves. Powerhouse Gym of Thornton goes above and beyond my expectations. The care taken of the facility is excellence at minimum. The owners ACTUALLY care about each and every individual that walks through their doors. Also they make sure to staff folks with more between their ears than what they read on Instagram. I’ve looked at almost every gym in the Thornton area and THIS powerhouse is my gym until I leave the state. End of story.

Not the best experience when trying to cancel but I’m editing my review. Went into the gym, Jeff and his staff made it right. I appreciate the help!ADDING to my review!!! When I spoke with Jeff on March 18, 2019, I offered to pay my last bill but he waived it for me due to bad customer service. I confirmed 2 times with 2 different managers that they are waving my last fee. I even asked Jeff if they will send me to collections and he assured me they would not. Jeff offered 30 days free but I declined. I have the receipt from when I spoke with him so why am I getting a collection notice in the mail 4 months later?

Great place to start your physical and mental health journey. Not overcrowded and the small surroundings gives you a sence of comfort that bigger gyms cant provide! I also had the chance of meeting new people and have received pointers on how to improve my form and health.

The $20 you'll spend on this membership each month can get you a membership through Vasa, Planet Fitness or many other facilities. This gym is too small and doesn't have sufficient equipment, so expect to spend most of your time waiting for machines or equipment. I signed up with the small gym because I need an environment in which I am comfortable but with just a couple of people working out there's a crowd. Plus customer service is horrible in person and over the phone.SERIOUSLY ADVICE EVERYONE TO GO WITH ANY OTHER GYM BESIDES THIS ONE.

Been going there for a year and it's small but does the job as it's more private and the 24 hours makes it easy to get in a workout even if it's late. The owner has solved previous problems I've encountered by phone and waived fees which definately wouldn't have happened at other gyms. I recommend this place as I've had a excellent experience here
