24 Hour Fitness

Went to this gym for the first time today. This location is funky. Parking garage is cramped, the gym is cramped and overcrowded, the dumbbell racks were all but empty (literally), I walked in and walked right back out it was not for me. I'll stick to my usual locations, more spacious and less crowded.

I've been to hundreds of gyms. This has lots of facilities. My beef is it's dark in many parts - yes I know, the phone in face people love it. overall good weight room equipment but some is the really old Nautlas that's poorly designed. Really crowded.

For $40 you get no towels expect for paper ones. Unfortunately, they have no one to refill the rolls so you don’t get those either. Half of the machines are broken, and the working ones are covered in other people’s sweat. I gave it 2 stars because I’ve seen worse gyms before, but I’m far from impressed. Hire a cleaning crew please, take care of the machines, and this will be a desirable place to go.

The employees were all very friendly and signing up was easy, they also waived my initiation fee for being a vet, which was much appreciated. The space is nice and the equipment is exactly as you'd expect to have at this kind of facility, all seemed to be in pretty good condition, as well. My only complaint is that they don't offer towels, it's a simple amenity that (or so I had always thought) is standard for this kind of gym.

Place looks old and run down. I wish they have newer amenities.

Ray, enough said. Man is a legitimate creep. He threatens and uses deceptive tactics. I believe he is probably on steroids. The management should get rid of him.

The gym is adequate, and the parking is horrendous. It's worth the drive to Torrance, just for parking.

They did not let me use trial pass. They just wanted me to purchase membership or visitor fee of $20.
