This place is extremely unprofessional I moved to the area recently and needed a nice gym to go. Boy was I wrong I filed a complaint about some ideas that were stolen from me and instead of doing a proper investigation they terminated my membership and didn't refund me. PLEASE DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO THERE THEY WILL STILL ITEMS AND YOUR MONEY

Supports individuals following members and blames the victim for the harassment they endured. Canceled their membership for documenting the stalker following them and still charged them for the membership. Very unprofessional on the phone when this situation was being discussed and stated that the victim should have talked to management as if them being followed is something they would address. The company would not address the stalker and that is very clear. It is important that everyone feels safe and comfortable at the gym and they did not create that sort of environment for the victim. I would absolutely not suggest this gym and believe all current members cancel as soon as they possibly can. You are not safe. You will never be safe in this gym. They do not care about their customers…

A club member was being followed and recorded the interaction to protect himself. Instead of the manager being understanding, he abruptly canceled the members membership and would not give them a refund. In a society where you truly don’t know the intentions of people, recording yourself for protection should not be punished. Shame on this establishment and the manager.

Absolutely love the front desk staff and the day to day employees (shout out to Juayla), but the management of this gym is absolutely horrible. My membership was cancelled by the GM without my permission so that I would have to rejoin under their now increased rate. They are asking me to pay an additionally $30/month on top of the rate I was already paying. I have provided the managers with proof that I never requested to cancel my membership and they have simply ignored it and continued to request the insanely increased monthly rate. The owners and managers of this gym are scammers who will do anything they can to get more money out of their clients. Do yourself a favor and join a gym that respects their clients rather than one that lies to them.

Really confused by the negative reviews. The staff are always welcoming, make me feel at home in the gym. Equipment always clean and variety work out spaces of 3 floors. I do some of their fitness classes. Steam room and Sauna are finally back open.-Only recommendation is the weight scale in the women's locker-room needs rescaled and some shower drains need unclogged.

This gym has terminated a guy’s membership due to him recording someone following him his entire workout. This would me feel so unsafe about this gym because it seems like they don't care if other members were following you around! Absolutely a toxic and unsafe gym environment. Do better!!

I give this gym -10/10. A facility were the staff don't care about your safety is not a place to be. Not to mention taking people hard earned money when they were protecting themselves. Let not mention the unprofessional person on the other end of the phone. This makes no sense honestly they guy needs to be fired.

Was a member at the WSC Kalorama for two years and recently cancelled my membership due to a move. The gym itself was fine, nothing special - like some previous reviewers noted, the equipment was often in need of repair and overall was deteriorated, but served its purpose.My main reason for leaving a negative review is because of my experience with the new membership services person, Bruce Rubin. I emailed Bruce, per the advice of the person at the front desk, regarding my membership cancellation. I explained to him that I spoke with someone over the phone *before the end of the end of the previous month* to cancel my membership to avoid being charged for the next month, which was when I would be moving. The cancellation was never processed, which resulted in me incurring the $75 membership fee for the following month. I had to go in-person to fully cancel everything and was then told to email Bruce about getting the charge for the month reversed. Bruce explained to me that because I couldn't recall with whom I spoke over the phone, he had "nothing to go off of" and would not refund me. I was a loyal customer for two years and am disappointed that they treated me with such disrespect, especially over something so minimal. Would not recommend this gym to anyone - check out VIDA Fitness close by. Heard they actually value their clients.

Gym is huge. Lots of equipment and weights but the pieces seem to be scattered all over the place. The placement of the equipment doesn't make sense to me. Plus the locker room could use cleaning up, towels all over the place. Overall give this place a chance.
