This is the most unsanitary gym I have been to in years. I have tried a few in the area and this one was the worst. I did not see one person or any staff wiping down the machines when they were done using them. Gross!!

Absolutely love this place. TONS of free classes, amazing trainers, and wonderfully clean facilities. Tyler is a great trainer and you should go see him 😁 …

The reason I am giving a 1 star review is because of their membership policies.Today I tried to cancel my membership and ran into a pretty awful policy. I always enjoyed the WAC the have a nice facility, nice equipment and lots of classes you can take to stay in shape. That being said, last month my wife lost her wallet and needed to replace all of her cards, including the one our renewal was on. The auto renewal did not go through so they never charged us for the $120 membership fee.Without realizing that, I called today to cancel our membership and was told we can't cancel it unless we pay for the month of August (its august 10th and we weren't going to use it for the month, and haven't for the last 1.5 months) otherwise I could just let it lapse at rhe end of the month. Which I obviously opted for. The person I talked to informed me that if I ever want to re-sign up they will expect this months membership fee. I stated we haven't even been there for a month and a half and this could dissuade me from coming back and she said "our memberships are monthly and notper use (obviously, but since I haven't been using it I thought just like any good business they would be reasonable and wave it so that if I wanted my membership in the future they could collect the fees again). My work season is the reverse of a teachers, I work may to the end of November in a labor intensive job, so I don't necessarily need to work out during spring, summer, fall, but I will be going elsewhere when my season is over to stay in shape. WAC has let money get to their head and seems to care more about making a quick buck than doing the right thing.

Staff is friendly no doubt but the carpet in all areas is fading and especially gross in the men's locker room...Men's locker room almost always smells like pee when I go in there...Out of soap and paper towels multiple times I've gone...Price is steep for what they offer (89.99) Showers are caked with rust and chlorine residue...Floor in bathroom doesn't appear to drain easily so always puddles to step in an risk gangrene...On busy days they actually run out of lockers which is a bummer but haven't seen that happen more than twice

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Clean and modern facility. The outdoor pool is a hit in the summer and includes a splash pad for the little ones.

Thank you for giving me Bryan as my new trainer . We have our work cut out for us, but I know he's up to the task!!

Today my husband and I joined WAC in Brookfield. What a nice experience! We were received by the fella who responded to our questions by phone last evening—calling back from message I left! We got a tour of the facility and we feel like we got straight up, straightforward information re fees, perks, constraints, limitations. We like that style—“honesty best policy.” Hoping we will do well—get healthy here at WAC in Brookfield!

If the technology allowed me to rate 0 stars, I would. WAC cancelled my nephews membership for working me out and serving as my accountability partner. I was using the WAC location out of convenience to separate work (from home) and exercise vs. using my home gym. When asked, WAC stated there is no policy to call this out but they can kick him out of all locations without cause. Simply put, there are more friendly options nearby. Try Lifetime, YMCA, etc. or keep it at home ;(

I have been a member of this club for a little under a year now, I find it very welcoming and mostly clean. I say mostly as some of the equipment is in need of repair/replacement but for the most part you can find just about anything you need here for a standard gym!The most standout part for me is that after seeing the cost of a personal training session per month, I opted out of it but the trainer who had given me the free two trainings included with being a new member STILL remembers my face to this day and always says hi as I go by making comments on my progress. Highly recommend Alex Mitchell if you are into personal training and can afford it.
