Crunch Fitness - Westland

Awesome gym! The staff is always helpful whenever something is needed. The gym is always clean and organized. If you’re looking for a new gym, I highly recommend this one!

Update: The highly professional unrequested courtesy call I received from Manager Katie, was to inform me that all reviews are received directly by her and to reiterate the bag policy is their most important policy, and ruled with an iron fist! I simply canceled my membership and went to a more bag inclusive gym where my friends and I wouldn't be discriminated against. Yet here I am being harassed a day later by phone over a back pack. Bag Lives MatterHad to cancel my membership tonight, brought a guest as well. Rather try to earn his business they chose to harass us over a bag he had brought. I just cant take the lack of common sense anymore "policy" should be leave the members/guests alone, ill just take my business to his gym. Been real crunch! But I wont do business with people who discriminate against bag holders

I absolutely love this gym, I have been a member for 3 years now. Crunch Westland has new equipment, friendly staff, and a clean facility. I went to upgrade my membership today and it was quick and easy. Thank you Lukasz and Chris for making that process painless. I will continue recommending this gym to all my friends and family.

Its been a couple years since I regularly visited this club and I have to say, things have changed for the better!The people behind the desk are nice, the gym itself smells and looks very clean. Equipment is plentiful and easy to access around the facility. I also really enjoy that they have 5 platforms + and iron rack if those 5 aren't available.I'll definitely be back more frequently for a change of scenery between gyms.

Not one to write bad reviews but when I pay for a membership that I use daily I would hope to have a better standard. Since the previous manager left a few months ago this location is slowly going downhill. I workout in the morning and it has been absolutely filthy especially the showers and locker rooms. There are several pieces of equipment that have been broken for months and the staff is very rude when I ask when it will be fixed. I have been a member for years and always communicate concerns previous managers always have explained or given a timeline while the tall guy told me to just deal with it. I will be taking my business elsewhere

The gym is much better then last year. The staff is amazing and vary hard working there is not a day I come and don’t see them cleaning the gym up and keeping a healthy environment. shout out to the staff too Ethan, Chris, michael , Kyle they are actively looking for new ways to make the gym a better place. They definitely make you feel welcomed and safe by far the best gym experience of the year. They pushing p fs😎

Edit: I emailed the owner like instructed lets see if anything comes from it.I have been having billing issues with this gym for 3 months. I moved out of state for a job offer. I updated my billing info online after changing banks which didn't work. Tried calling them to resolve it for the manager to tell me I need to come in to the gym. I flew out back to Michigan last weekend to see family and updated my payment info and they said everything is Ok now. Guess what I am still having problems. The manager here isn't very good at his job.

Moved out here back in July, and absolutely love this place! The layout is great! The employees are super nice and outgoing! If you ever have questions they are happy to help and give advice on workouts! This place smokes any other gym I’ve been to! Plus this facility is my favorite compared to the others around the area

I liked this gym until the manager, Lucas would target me and my friends, criticizing us for anything we did wrong. He made it to the point where me or my friends will never go to this gym again, we felt very judged and insecure after some of the things he would say, which is very unprofessional and completely ruined my workouts as well as others because I know I am not the only person he gives a hard time. Any gym is better than crunch. Any worker is better than Lucas. The employees and management have gotten worse over time and it is very clear only a certain criteria of people are meant to be in this gym.

I signed up with Crunch out in Westland about 3 weeks ago and honestly, it's been my favorite gym experience so far. I was expecting it to be a lot smaller, but to my surprise it gives that big open gym feel, it's CLEAN, and the staff makes you feel welcomed. The new lady manager isn't hard to look at either... I've held memberships at Lifetime, Powerhouse, LA Fitness and my colleges D1 athletic training facility. However, for the amenities and most importantly the price, you cant beat it. Highly recommend.
