Good location. Corporate tried to force them to remove all dumbbells over 60lbs and the manager kept them. Only downside is the A/C struggles to keep it cool inside on hot/muggy days.

the treatment I received from the person "Tamico" was absolutely horrible!!!!!! My family and I all just bought black cards and when we came for the first time She was extremely rude and unprofessional and seem to have no idea What she was doing. We sat at the desk for a hour!!!! Just trying to get our cards. She was so scattered and full of anxiety and panic that it triggered my son to have a panic attack. One of the reasons we go at night is so he doesn't get overwhelmed.I thought at first it was just that night so we went back and same treatment!!!! I was tanning and my time just ran out and I was cleaning the bed and she started banging on the door telling me I was taking to long. When I walked out NOBODY was even waiting. It was at 12:30 at night. Needless to say I haven't been back and now we are paying money every month for nothing!!!! We picked this gym because of the judgement free zone. Well she definitely doesn't follow that. She was at the desk talking to another girl that was there working out about this woman and putting her down and making fun of her. When I said something she just rolled her eyes at me.I'm am calling upper management today to make a formal complaint. It's a sad day when the people that are supposed to make you comfortable do the exact opposite !!

A "politically correct" center (can't even call it a gym); give me a break! No scales . . . it's considered a "judgement". On the wall is a definition of "Lunk"; totally made-up by corporate. Heaven forbid if you raise your voice or drop a weight. An irritating siren is blasted. Once a month is pizza night/day. Once a month is bagel day/night. Add to this a bucket of tootsie rolls. A bit oxymoronic; to say the least. Add to this . . . the electronic boom-boom, hip-hop, rap-crap that blares throughout the facility. No music. A one star rating for the $10.00 monthly fee.

This place is ALWAYS jam packed. The evenings are the worst. A lot of arrogant men at night and young teens who spend more time taking selfies and chatting than they do working out. Staff is friendly. The place is clean. I just find the crowd to be uncomfortable.

The gym is kept clean. Plus they have the equipment for free weights, machines and treadmills. The trainer is very helpful and will help you accomplish your goals.Sad to see reviews putting the gym down for young kids. You will see them at life time and fitness 19 as well...

I have to say, this place is a scam!! I signed up for a one year membership for my husband whihc he never used and they are still taking the monthly payment from my account. When I asked about having it cancelled or changed in my name they tell me i have to pay a 40 balance but before i can cancel and they are going to keep taking the payment out for over 2 years,, TOTAL RIP OFF!!!

I love coming here, its a very clean facility, staff is very friendly, and there is ample amounts of space (especially now that they're expanding). I've never had to wait for a machine or freeweights and consistently get my workout done in 45min-1 hour.

Recently I needed to exercise in a pool, due to knee surgery and joined a higher priced gym in the area to aqua jog. As I was at that gym, I realized how much I like this planet fitness location(Westland). The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and the gym is always clean. The atmosphere of the staff and fellow gym members is outstanding. I found myself going to the higher price gym just to aqua jog, then going to planet fitness for upper body weights. No gym is perfect, but Planet Fitness is a outstanding option and is much better than most of its higher priced competitors in the area. The recent addition of three more workout rooms is great. I just wished they had installed the heavy bags on the 360. I hesitate slightly writing this review, since gyms get so crowded this time of year, but all you resolution makers in the area should check out Planet Fitness

I've going to this one for going on two years now. We are always greeted by the wonderful staff members and they make sure we know about whats going on in the gym. I've been to many PF and this one is by far my favorite. Very spacious and has a ton of room especially in the stretch/ab zone!

Great place! the machines are great, clean. I pay 10 dollars a month, and that is prefect. Although I know some people are upset about not having a pool, it doesn't bother me. I wish they where open later on weekends. I work 12-7 fri-sun and they close way to early :( although not that big of a complain. I just have to wake up earlier.
