The mornings are the most quiet , which i enjoy. 5am-6am. The only think that bothers me is that when I get in at 5am there is always a man sleeping at the front tables. the front desk girls don't seem to care or notice.. so is this normal?

Mike(the manager) is great, very polite and more then helpful for what I needed! He even talked to my daughter while he was helping me out and got her a tattoo and braclet!!!! Best customer service I've ever received hands down in a very long time. Thanks Mike!!!

The equipment is decent. It has everything I need, and the price is great. The "no judgement" thing, however, is a little annoying. There are constant ads going in the background talking about how "judgement-free" they are. I've never in my life gone to a gym where I felt more judged. The cell phone conversations in the locker room are annoying as hell--I feel like I'm interrupting if I use my blow dryer. People are blasting music from their cell phones in the locker room (which is futile since the music being played is so loud I've quit trying to listen to my headphones). I've even witnessed a woman taking selfies in the locker room mirror. I feel like I'm in middle school gym class again, except my gym class wasn't this bad.

NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!!!! I've belonged to most big gyms in the area. Bally's, 24hr, better bodies etc... The guy behind the counter was a total douche bag he acted like I was inconveniencing his day because he had to put my code in the computer from another PF in the area. The main floor and equipment is marginal and dirty. The mens bathroom is totally sickening. It smells like old piss and sweaty ass from the time you walk into the bathroom. Let's talk urinals now... They are dirty of course smell like piss and all the walls around them including the part separating the urinals are all covered in piss and booger filled spit!!! I felt like I had to take a trip to the clinic to get tested after using the bathroom. I'm rating it 1 star because I'm not allowed to give it a negative star review.

The assistant manager on duty right now 9/12/2015 has no customer service skills what so ever. It's my first time back at the gym and this person almost made me walkout with the way he treats the people coming in. We were excited to come back and start our fitness with a great gym. the way he treated us was both unprofessional and rude. It was like we were bothering him because as he mentioned to not just us but every other person that didn't have there card to "scan" in, he's the only one working. Never once dis he smile or explain the new process, yet even month the 40.00 dollars come put of our account with no priblem, with we we use the gym or not. I'm sorry but for a business that prides themselves for being a "judgment free" environment, that's all it feels like we got from him. Great job Plant Fitness on hiring none friendly assistant mangers! It's to bad WE were looking forward to returning, but we don't pay to get judged!

It is what it is and is very good at it. Not for true gym rats, and it's not a rec center. It is a clean, well staffed, very well stocked(for a gym-lite) gym. Tons of cardio, ample free weights, squat racks, dumbbells, etc.. I wouldn't go on, but it's $10 a month, no contract, huh? Oh yeah, clean locker rooms and showers. This place is for the 50 lb. weakling tired of getting sand kicked in his face(75+ y.o. reference:) or someone who has decided to turn off the T.V., get off the couch, and join us.

This location has been updated. There's always been 16 or so treadmills. There are also two full rows of ellipticals. I actually liked the old, more beat-up treadmills better. In my opinion, they had better shock-absorbing capabilities. However, the new ones work fine and the belts are in good condition, etc.I'm not sure about the status of free weights / plates and bars. I am inclined to agree with other posters, regarding the singular existence of a Smith machine and no true squat rack. There is one bench but it's for free weights, not bench pressing. I use one of the ab benches as a quasi-incline bench. Not really meant for it, but it works fine.Overall, the location is clean. People are respectful and wipe down equipment after using it. The bathrooms, showers and locker rooms are clean. And as everybody has said, you can't beat the $10/month price.

Okay, first off Planet Fitness is a great company overall. However this location is simply no good. The place is clean and the staff are nice however the equipment options are absolutely terrible.I recently switched from a Lakewood pfit and they had brand new equipment and everything a real gym should have… this Westminster location has no flat bar or incline benches. Furthermore they only have curl bars that go up to 60 lbs whereas the Lakewood location has an independent bar that you can actually add weight to. In addition, there is no free standing squat rack, also they only have one POS bar pad that is falling apart and wrapped in duct tape. To top it off they only have 3 or 4 treadmills, the rest are all ellipticals. I will say that they have 3 Smith machines that apparently are thought to substitute for the squat/benches but they don’t.I understand Planet Fitness is a “judgment free”/no body builder type of gym, and I like that. But come ‘on, I can’t even get a legitimate work out in this place. For that I am leaving.

Terrible. This gym seems to have decent enough equipment; however, the staff refuses to work with prospective customers. The only explanation to the company policy requiring individuals to submit their sensitive bank account routing information in order to join the gym is that it "was corporate's decision". I offered any other method of payment for a membership, and even offered to purchase a nationwide membership (more than twice the cost) at a franchise location that does accept Credit Cards in order to gain access to the gym. Instead of working with me, they shortly informed me that doing that would result in a $5 / month charge for each use of their gym after the 10th per month. This charge was never explained when I explicitly asked about additional fees during my first "informational" visit, so hearing about it when attempting to resolve an issue seemed more than a little hostile. When I requested to speak with corporate I was rather rudely told to submit a complaint online (apparently the staff had something better to do than work with a customer)Overall, I would rate my experience with the gym as utterly terrible. I've had better customer service at big chain stores like Walmart. But, if you're okay with handing out your personal financial information and waiving your right to dispute charges easily to a gym with hidden fees and no explanation for why they need that information, then I'm sure it's a great deal for only "$10 a month" ... plus a start up fee. And a Cancellation Fee. And a fee for using another facility more than 10 times a month... and whatever else it seems they feel like charging you for.

Cleanest gym in Denver Metro and without a doubt best bargain around. 19.99 a month gets you Black Card membership which gives you unlimited access. Unlimited for stand up tanning, great machines and cardio equipment and many other perks. Great selection of free weights and cable stations too.
