Sorry, had to edit this. So its actually a good deal in terms of a gym, but there is some problems. There aren't enough clips and several treadmills are broken. Depending on who is there, they don't want you coming in late. Otherwise the location is spacious and offers a variety of machines and free weights. The theatre will be missed. Also I am bumping it down further because they rearranged everything and a lot of things are misplaced all so they could install a different rug. Because that’s why people go to the gym: to look at the pretty rug. Ridiculous.

Usually I take 1 star reviews with a grain of salt and I rarely post bad reviews, but I feel responsible that others should be warned for their safety and financially. This particular VASA my daughter belonged to for about 1 month. About 1 month in, all her belongings were stolen, the police were called and took a report. There was even a timeline of who it most likely was where they went afterwards. My daughter just did not feel safe at this location now that someone knew who she was and where she lived. My daughter not only told the police but also management at VASA. The police took her seriously but VASA did not care, the manager would not even speak to her and would never take a call from her. She wanted her membership cancelled due to fearing for her safety and lack of caring from the management. EXCESSIVE time she spent on the phone trying to work out in a professional manner, cancelling her membership, but VASA insisted even after her things were stolen out of a locked locker, and a police report was filed, and she feared for her safety - they still insisted she pay them $75 to get out of her contract. In my opinion, VASA is only about money, is not at all ethical and does not value the safety of its members.UPDATE: They said in their reply below "we are here to help you" ... well this is how that went down: So after the "owner" reached out, we were told to go and get a police report to prove my daughter wasn't lieing and then they would take care of it. She went to the police station, got a report and then we sent it in. We got a form letter back (calling my daughter the wrong name) saying that she needed to provide 30 days to cancel (because she could predict she would be violated right?) and that what happened to her was not their fault and they are still owed the money. Beyond disgraceful. Bottom line: In my opinion ... if you want to feel bullied, , violated, intimidated, unsafe and abused - Go to VASA!

After 8 months with VASA, I have discontinued my membership. This particular gym off of 104th and Wadsworth Blvd is extremely crowded all of the time. In my time here, I have never seen the staff cleaning the equipment and it is left to the guests to wipe down (most guests don't). The locker rooms are not maintained well, the benches/floors/lockers are not cleaned on a daily basis. I am disappointed to cancel my membership because I live so close, but with VASA, I have a gym membership that I do not want to use due to the crowding and lack of maintenane.

Honestly wish I didn't have to leave such a negativereview. I've been with VASA for five years, I've always beenvery loyal and have introduced a lot of my friends toVASA. Until recently I've had a experience here that hasleft my mouth sour. I'm generally new to this vasa location(moved to boulder 2 months ago) however I've come heremany times. I've even been given a key card and havealways felt welcomed. I came in with my friend trying toshow him vasa fitness, however I was stopped becausemy membership was not "valid." They wouldn'tlet me in and kept claiming it wasn't my membership?Very contradicting especially since they've been sowelcoming in the past. There seemed to be an issue because it used to be my moms account however she switched the account to give it to me, the front desk said they had taken note of this and taken down all my personal information. So I guess that was for nothing. Anywaysafter 5 minutes of going back and forth with thediscourteous and ill-mannered general managerwouldn't let me nor my first time friend into the gym. Thiswas the first time I've felt so unwelcomed and definitelywill not be returning and will cancel my membership.Since then my friend and I been to ANYTIME FITNESS andthey've been so welcoming and even have a movietheater! Really unfortunate I have to leave vasa on such aterrible note. good luck

Tried this gym for a couples months and hated it. The classes weren’t bad but the locker rooms are located on the opposite of the gym from the front door so you have to walk by everyone working out just to get to locker room, which is weird in my opinion.I didn’t really like the classes enough to keep my membership so I cancelled. Turns out they never cancelled my account and now they’re trying to claim I owe them $200. Complete scam of a company, save yourself because apparently cancelling with them is nearly impossible.

I’ve always enjoyed this gym since I first started in 2019. I had to cancel when kidcare was no longer available and went elsewhere. Well this “elsewhere” is now in between warehouses and now I’m back. So much has changed since I was last here. Right away, I noticed the Studio Red, which I’m excited about during the days I don’t want to think about what my workout will be. Love how the theater was replaced with squat racks. My only downside opinions are the holey seats on some benches, closed massage room (what it looks like from the outside), and the mediocre treadmills out front. When I’m doing run intervals from a light jog to sprints or flat run to hills, you have to keep pressing the up and down arrows, which I feel could be slightly dangerous when you’re sprinting. Luckily, that hasn’t happened yet and I’m a klutz 😆 But so far, not bad. I still need to check out Studio Red and hope to get my a$$ kicked. I like a good challenge.

I was excited to join this gym since because it looked great from the pictures online. The place is spacious and seems to have potential, however working out here is not the experience I was hoping for. Every time I've come during the week it's been frustratingly busy and had to compete for a space in the free weights or other machines. I'm used to busy gyms, but there doesn't seem to be a culture of wiping down equipment and keeping things clean and in good condition here among members or staff which makes this place feel like a standard rec center rather than a premium fitness club.

I have been to planet fitness and it’s alright. Decided to give VASA a try. Much better equipment variety here at VASA. The sauna is an amazing amenity. The other amenities are wonderful as well. Staff are nice and friendly... Overall, way better than Planet Fitness (and cheaper).

I have been a member of VASA since Covid hit, as it was one of the few fitness centers that remained open. It is a bit crowded so it can be difficult to do your workout in your desired order, but I always manage to get mine done. People do a good job of wiping down equipment. For a while there the majority of the stationary bikes were not working and it took a long time before they were fixed, but they are all working now. I have asked the front desk a few times if there was any way to change the TV channel on any of the TV sets in front of the bikes and their answer has always been that they don’t know how to. Hard to believe they can’t be changed. I like this gym. I think that it is a good value for the money. I will remain a member and give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
