VASA Fitness has everything that you need in a gym it has a lot of great weight machines it’s got a variety of free weightsit’s got a couple areas for doing Floorwork plus an area if you want to do ab workIts got a pool and a sauna and steam roomjust really all-around great place to go I feel safe because there’s equipment for everyone and typically not a wait for your favorite machine. If you go between 11 and 1 it crowded.

One of the best VASA locations I've been to. The staff has been very helpful and kind, some of the best service I've seen at one of these gyms. Unfortunately, it's very crowded and seems to be gaining people. If you come in during the busiest hours you can expect to wait depending on what you're working, legs tends to be the worst. Still, they have a lot of equipment compared to other gyms so generally this isn't a huge issue.I did end up having to cancel my VASA subscription due to their payment processing service. They would be able to complete one transaction then somehow mess things up to where I would have to give them the same info over and over and get spammed with calls about my payment not going through. I ended up just paying at the front desk and blocking the payment company's number but they started to charge me double when the payment didn't go through. Very irritating,

I recently canceled 24 hour to be here. It’s amazing because not only is it cheaper, they have a special area you can rent called the red room for when the gym area gets too crowded you’ll have a guaranteed peaceful work out in there. They have way more classes such as Zumba, yoga, body fitness classes. They have a pool, sauna, steam room. So many squat racks which I do enjoy. A lot of cardio equipment. There’s a basket ball and racket ball room. Idk why I didn’t join sooner!

So far so good. The gym equipment is very well maintained and safe unlike a previous gym I left. They could probably benefit from taking better care of the bathrooms as some days the showers can smell a little bit swampy and one toilet always seems to be clogged (four star)Edit: The restrooms have been pristine lately so five star

I am really disappointed in VASA Fitness. I was excited to become a member, and have all those amenities everyone talks about. First off it did not matter what time of day I went, every bench would be taken. Second there was no cinema room which I thought would be great! The last thing though, and the reason I am writing this review and giving one star, is that they still are charging me even after having canceled my account over 6 months ago. I have asked them month after month to please delete the account, because I have already cancelled and have no way of going in to cancel it myself. Month after month I get the run-a-round and here I am still paying for a membership I do not use. I wish they had better customer service, but here we are. I really do not want to have to get a new card because I have things linked to it, but that seems to be the only way to get them to stop stealing from me.

Unfortunately, like many gyms, VASA fitness hides their fees and policies until you're 99% signed up, and already gave them your bank account information, address, and phone number.Someday, I hope gyms realize it's in their best interest to be open with fees and policies up front. We gym users don't mind paying fees, but no one likes surprise extra costs.Update: emailed with VASA (including a concrete suggestion they could follow) and they gave a generic response, much like all of their responses to these 1 star reviews.

VASA has been a great choice! The amenities for the price is unbeatable. The gym is well kept, clean and has an extensive variety of equipment/machines. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the contracts (including the cancellation policy) are very reasonable.

A bad Gym.If you're thinking about signing up, they charge a 'rate locking fee' which you can't opt out of, I asked. Because of that fee, you get charged roughly $50 annually on top of whichever tier you choose. There's also a cancellation fee, because of course there is. My roommate was not made aware of the rate locking fee and had an unpleasant surprise for something that seems like it should be completely optional.I recommend you choose the lowest tier as well, there's zero enforcement on which tier you have once you're in the door. I have the mid tier so I can use the pool, but have never once been asked or checked on to use the pool.Don't expect a clean environment & weights to be evenly spaced throughout the gym either. There's mold on the wall of the pool that I've emailed about months ago that's still there. The steam room is frequently broken, and the sauna as well. This gym seems like every other chain. A money grab with little care once you're signed up. The staff are friendly enough.

I was disappointed to see that there was no wipes in the hydro room and no headrests either. The stationary bikes. Two did not turn on past the screen to enter your choices. And the one I found rattled from the wheel as if it was loose. Love the running spray on every display not even wiped

I’ve been a member here for about 4 months and overall I think it’s a good gym for what you pay for.The equipment is mostly in good shape. I don’t think management is as timely as they should be with repairs on machines and equipment that need attention. That’s fine for the 2 out of 30 treadmills, less fine for the 1 of 2 pull up machines that is currently broken.Like most big box gyms, they have a lot of cardio equipment. However, they do have an incredible amount of strength training and weight equipment, which is why I joined. Unfortunately with recent renovations and layout changes, they went from 8 squat racks and 4 deadlift platforms down to 6 racks and 2 platforms, which has caused some problems. If you come here during peak hours, you should expect to have to wait a bit for those at the moment. I was told that it was a “corporate” decision to change things. The music they play isn’t too loud (compared to other gyms in the area), the staff is friendly, and the locker rooms are decent (but could use more cleaning).People who complain about it being too busy need to get a grip. Good luck to those people who join a big box gym in the suburbs, pay $10-25 a month, and expect it to not be a popular spot 😂
