Great equipment and environment. Big muscle guy with arm tattoos that works there is pretty rude and not welcoming at all. Had multiples interactions and he made it a point to make sure and let me know that he's off the clock and works there and was very rude about it. . All other staff is amazing (:

The place is great. Everything about it is what a gym is supposed to be. Except one thing. They do not have a wet sauna. They traded out their wet sauna for 3 hydro massage chairs. I don't know about you all. But I like to relax in the wet sauna after an intense workout. It relaxes the muscles. Anyway, enjoy.

I have been trying to cancel my membership since the beginning of this month and I needed to receive a refund after being charged twice. I was unable to come in person due to having COVID until the 17th. It has came to me having to come in person even after emailing them a couple of times without a response. I have told them I am a close contact to a live in person that currently has COVID. They did not care. I will never return to this club with the terrible customer service they have. I do recommend the Mesa club their service has been outstanding to me in my opinion.

I attend Silver Sneakers classes at Riverside. The gym is always clean and tidy and I've never seen anybody just hanging around inside or outside the building. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Even the visitors to the gym are friendly and willing to explain a piece of equipment or give directions to find staff. Definitely recommend the Riverside Defined Fitness.

Great gym! The staff is always friendly. The manager is very kind and attentive, he takes good care of his gym and employees. Group classes are always great. Cardio area (treadmills & stairs mostly) fills up fast during peak times but you usually don’t have to wait long for someone to finish..however, this location is way less crowded now that the new Mesa location opened. 2 hour kids care once a day included in your membership is a great plus!!

I have not been to the Riverside side Define in 8 months. I have not been back because it felt like in was way to crowded and needed to be more streamline . I've been working out at Riverside for two days and notice that I can finally get a good workout in. The weights look to be new and they finally got rid of that cattle guard entrance when you check in. The staff in the front seemed to be more helpful instead of before when it felt like I was wasting there time. I'm am glad they are finally opening more gyms, especially on Central. This will help the overcrowding in Riverside and other gyms. I wanted to see what they have done when they announced a grand reopening with upgrade . I think the new streamline and opening of other gyms will keep me coming back, keep up the good work. After a month if I think I like the new look and good help I will give Define 5 stars.

My husband and I are members at this gym. It is okay. We joined bacause we wanted a gym with a pool for a one day a week swim. The pool is nice, but you have to keep an eye out for when they are doing classes, as they give you little room to do laps. The hot tub is very hot and nice, but most of the time it is packed. The steam rooms seem to always be packed with a wait to go inside. We don't really swim anymore, mostly just weights and machines, and it's mainly the location that is keeping us here, despite all the things that I don't really like about it. It is packed a large chunk of the time. Finding a bar for squats is usually a waiting game. There are a few pretty obnoxious people that drop weights and sometimes scream loudly... Though I guess these people are probably at any gym. My biggest and most frustrating thing about this gym is that there are no towels at all. There are no small towels to have around the gym, and no towels for showers. At the price that we are paying every month (plus the extra annual fee), we really should have towels available to us. Many gyms at this price point will have towels available to their guests. And I know some locations in other cities do. For this price point, we should have that luxury. They do regularly do upkeep on the machines and make sure that everything is working properly, which is important. They do regularly have someone in the bathroom mopping up all the excess water to keep it safe, which I really appreciate. The staff always seems nice, welcoming you in and saying goodbye and any that I have some across around the gym/locker room are always friendly.

Seven years I went to this gym, and I cancelled my membership. I loved the class instructors which is why I'm giving it two stars otherwise I'd give it one. Unsanitary all around. Workout equipment is grossly outdated despite high membership costs... I could go on, but I won't. The quality of this gym is quickly fading. Profit is more important than members.

I love this gym! It is what gym should be when you just feel like lifting they have everything you need and none of the silly rules that places like the purple gym have, also they're not trying to stuff your face with a bagel on your way out. Front staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and always greet you with a smile when you walk in.
