Started going a few weeks ago and it has been great! The coaches are very knowledgable and kind. They love what they do and it shows. They are warm and welcoming and everyone I have met so far has been the same. The older students will help you learn new moves and teach you the basics as you are working with them. Everyone treats each other with respect

Great for first-time martial artists. First week is free, I went twice and loved each class. People were super welcoming and encouraging, both instructors and students.

I train jiujitsu here. I like the gym very much. The classes are great and the teammates are very friendly. The atmosphere in the gym is welcoming. Good place to train regardless of your rank. I also like the addition of Thursday mma classes.

I only had a few sessions here unfortunately (due to short notice job requirements), but I enjoyed every minute of it! And yes, they offer military discounts.Staff are highly knowledgeable and professional. They typically structure their beginning of the week around new movements, so your best bet as a novice is to arrive earlier in the week. Expect dynamic warm ups, and bring plenty of water.Uniforms are available to use to include belts, though it would be better to purchase your own as sizes are first come first serve. Changing rooms are also there to use.I think anyone who attends would be more than happy to become regular members, as you'll learn a lot and their environment is very welcoming to everyone. Keep in mind if you don't have experience, it'll take some time to really learn some of the fun stuff, so be patient.Staff respond within 24 hours to customer inquiries through email, in my experience.Overall I'd recommend this place to anyone who is new to the sport and Albuquerque. You likely won't find anything better.
