This is a great gym for power lifters, and general fitness. The owner is a great man, honest, and kind. Melton, a trainer, is absolutely amazing. He has transformed my husband in a safe manner. We couldn’t be happier about everything Iron Soul!

People are really laid back and chill. Everyone is upbeat and ready to get their work! This is a serious gym and if you're to get the bag & lift real iron this is the place for lifters

Good gym for the most part. I went here for less than a year. The owner, Eric, is cordial for the most part unless you bring up a safety concern, apparently. I brought up a safety concern to him and his immediate response was that it wasn't an issue and blew me off. I told him that somebody could get hurt and he responded that was why everybody signed waivers of liability. As an attorney that has written and litigated these waivers, I understood and explained that these waivers did not protect you from gross negligence claims, which can be proven by a failure to fix a known safety issue. He became cold and callous towards me after that, and did not address the safety issue in any way. I left a couple months later. Too bad, it was otherwise a decent gym. He also did not hesitate to boot me off his Facebook page as soon as I quit his gym, which seemed petty.

I worked out at Iron Soul for about 2.5 years before work made me relocate. Couldn’t ask for a better gym to build strength. Has everything you need with no frills or gimmicks. Aside from the great facility which is open 24/7/365, the staff and gym community made this place special. Endless strong friendly people who’ll let you pick their brains, critique form, and help when they can. You might think you’re strong, but go down to Iron Soul and get humbled. Would recommend to anyone who’s serious about building strength and improving their bodies.

Been coming to this gym for a year and it is one of the best in town. They have great membership prices and the best thing is that it's 24/7 and always looks clean.

This gym has all my strength training needs. Equipment is varied and useful. The owner brings in well known experts for seminars on powerlifting, at least quarterly. The membership fee is more than reasonable and the staff let you do what you want in a safe and reasonable manner. There are people at all levels of lifting and fitness goals and disciplines - powerlifting, strongman, even some body builders, and people looking to get fitter through strength training. It's not a class based gym, though regular training is available for a reasonable cost. They also sell powerlifting assessories like belts and sleeves. No shoes yet, to my knowledge.

I own a gym myself, and have been a strength and conditioning coach for over 21 years. Iron Soul is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. If I lived in ABQ this is where I’d train. When I travel to ABQ, this is where I will train. Eric, the owner, is a great gym owner and a great man. His work ethic, integrity, and continent are second to none. And he’s a veteran, having served in combat in Iraq...that is a factor that should NOT be overlooked. Support veteran-owned businesses when you can. His level of service and commitment is of the highest level. Iron Soul is the place to train in Albuquerque.

Best equipped gym I've ever been to in multiple major metro areas. Nothing is down for more than a week ever and equipment is only the best. Plenty of room, 24/7 access and music and chalk on demand. Can't get much better than this.

Wonderful gym. Equipment is superb and KEPT UP. There is an abundance of racks. You can lift without being bothered, but other members will check form if you ask.
